The pay to win Situation / PTW players

I have been playing a while now on several accounts. 8 plus chars in the 70's. 15 plus at various other levels. In that time I have seen 2 Exalts. I have seen 0 really valuable unique items. I have a 1 6L and a few 5Ls. I run my chars with high IR/IQ. I'm not complaining about this...

Yet through out this forum I see players with huge amounts of wealth.

There is no way you can convince me that one person can get all their gems to 20. All items a max sockets and color coded. Then add in all high end drops.

So who thinks there are a fair number of PAY TO WIN FOLKS?

I'm guessing you just don't play a lot. 8+ chars in the 70's doesn't take that much playtime (kripp reaches 70 on a char in 2 days).

RMT is an issue with any online RPG, and GGG does a better job than any dev out there when it comes to kicking RMT ass.

8 characters lvl70+ is 500ish hours for sure unless you rushed every char without actually playing them.

Also, how is 'kripp reaches 70 in 2 days' even relevant to this thread?

To op:
I have close to 600hours played in OB and found 0 Exalts and 0 6 Links.
To gain wealth you either have to trade a lot, scam new players for their exalts, use RMT or get really lucky and drop that one item that is worth 20+ Exalts.

How do you win at this game?

I used to wonder why I was so poor until I realised I don't play as often as people who are rich. They're rich because they play that much and generate a lot more currency.

Find a couple of good, sought after uniques and you'll be rolling in exalts. My level 80 is sitting with most of her main gems at +20%, and some top end gear due to just that. Not that hard.

It's not pay to win. Enjoy your game, dude. Stop worrying so much about others.

500ish hours of sitting in town maybe. If sitting around is considered "actually playing" then yeah, good luck getting good drops.

Also, 70's isn't map level, and the best drops come from maps.

I was bitching too about how other people are lucky, how the buy currency, how they are streamers and their viewers give them currency, how they have friends and they run in a party 24/7. But at the end, you have to realize that it's only about you. I don't play as much as they do and i don't have the knowledge.
