Good to see this thread being bumped regularly! It's a great idea to be added. Hopefully something like this will accompany the current end-game setup. Would really like to see them make some of them hard, really hard! The bounty board could do just that! Great suggestion OP

This sounds great. We need more things to do in end-game than just maps. Everything like this makes people to log in every day and see whats new today and even if the reward isn't something huge it gives diversity wich is VERY important when you are 70+ and nothing to do but the same maps.

Better yet make it a race, it will despawn after (#) players kill it. Encouraging competitive PvE.

" Maybe I was unclear about this: posting a bounty requires the player to actually give up the currency required for the reward. Posting a bounty on a player you're about to kill anyway won't net you any gain in currency: you just get back the stuff you posted. The worst exploit I can think of with that setup is killing your friend who already has someone else's bounty on him, and splitting the resulting loot after you give him all his gear back... which is pretty much the same as any other bounty system for hunting players. I'm not sure how one would remove that exploit, for that matter. That said, there are ways to make that particular exploit harder I think - it could avoid displaying bounties for players on your friends list, or it could allow bounties to be turned in for "the first X different people to kill person Y" (would require a corresponding multiple of currency to post, of course). (note that those don't make it impossible to exploit, but enough trouble that less will bother with the workarounds) I have wandered through insanity;

" If they do something like that then they would need to provide limits to the number of bounties you can do. Otherwise it will turn out like MMO's that have bosses that spawn every 30mins etc and always get crushed by very high level characters making it impossible for lower characters to have any chance |
