GGG, fix your end game map system cause I might as well go play tetris
" I was not aware the average player denies trading. I've seen a lot of QQ recently about wanting self-found, but that no one encompasses the "average" player. I myself do not fully understand how to properly trade/price things and probably get taken advantage of all the time. I also am not the biggest fan of camping trade chat to buy/sell items, buuuttttt, I've bought/sold some pretty good shit there and those trades were invaluable to my gaming experience / progress through the game. People who refuse to trade are simply down syndrome. You get a GG item? Oh wait, it is a pure armor chest with +hp...etc, and you are a CI Sporker? Trade/Sell that shit in order to get the GG ES/Resist chest you need. EZ. Hoping that you will eventually self-find your own gear is the dumbest shit I've ever heard. |

The game is a free beta. I don't understand this rage. Don't like it? Don't play.

" The solution to this is don't run high maps until you HAVE the currency you need. nobody is forcing you to run poorly rolled high level maps, that's what low level maps are for; to build up currency. The *only* thing that encourages RMT is laziness. it doesn't matter what changes get made to any multiplayer game there will be RMT. Last edited by Asmosis#7365 on Jun 18, 2013, 11:07:27 AM

+1 OP. End game levels should not be based in RNG

" Whoa there. You just fkn pissed me off in several ways. Not least because I have a handicapped nephew. But let's try to let that one go down as a brain fart on your behalf. Hoping that you will eventually find your own gear, is in fact, what many people love about aRPGs. Buying any gear at all is what many people loath about how aRPGs have become. This can be put down to changes in gamers' needs, a more instant gratification gaming population including devs, and also MOST IMPORTANTLY, differences in what people find fun. Calling people the way you did, for wanting to preserve the loot find in loot-find aRPGs and play the way they enjoy was totally uncalled for. That GG item that your character can't use, prompts one to roll a character with a build that can. Casually casual. Last edited by TheAnuhart#4741 on Jun 18, 2013, 11:20:23 AM

what you fail to realize is that 'smart shoppers' such as yourself are probably a big reason why map drops arent proportional to the currency invested.
you have 5 exalts in what, one week of anarchy ? that means in default youd have > 100 exalts by now if you could buy a well rolled lvl 77 map for 5-6 exalts with a guaranteed lvl 77 chain drop, you'd be near level 100 already, probably. but nope, you being at least an economy flipper, have to grind just as hard as people who solo low level maps and slooowly work their way up top :D what the system does is level the playing field via RNG. and while I might feel bad for someone rolling their last currency on a map and getting nada, I certainly dont feel bad for you. umadbro ? |

Roll maps well, and play the game. It's not like you're high lvl or anything.

" Its counter productive. Chris already stated he didn't want maps to be the only way to gain experience at higher levels. Maps are meant for loot. IGN: lVlage (96 Witch)

" High level maps can produce: XP. Challenge. High ilvl items. Content experience. Yes, Chris did say that the intention was to gate high ilvl loot only. Ironically, the only one of those four that isn't gated is the fkn loot. As, just like anything and everything material in PoE, shopping gets you it. What's even more absurd, a max ilvl 79, max rolled ilvl 79 modded item, can be bought and equipped by a lvl 64 character not even capable of any map. Casually casual.
