Roll maps well, and play the game. It's not like you're high lvl or anything.

he wants to be able to BUY xp/levels, I think that's quite clear.

if anyone could buy a set of 69 maps and chain the fuck out of them to a set of 77 maps, woudlnt everyone be like lvl 95+ ? lol

The problem will occur when you can not sell your stuff anymore. Cause you don't find enaugh orbs to maintain high map rolls.

Then you will have the same problem as the average player who denies trading.

This all would be alot different if just very good rolled maps would guarantee at least some minimum lvl of mapdrops.

And therefore it must be changed soon. The current system of endgame (~about lvl 90) encourages RMT and exploit.

The solution to this is don't run high maps until you HAVE the currency you need. nobody is forcing you to run poorly rolled high level maps, that's what low level maps are for; to build up currency.

The *only* thing that encourages RMT is laziness. it doesn't matter what changes get made to any multiplayer game there will be RMT.

This is what noone would ever do. You would need to run about 40 low maps for 1 77 map, 30 for one 76 map, 25 for one 75 map etc. Do you really think this is how it should work and was meant to function?
I don't believe so, considering the fact that even higher maps barely give any xp in higher lvls.

+1 OP. End game levels should not be based in RNG
Why not?

Its counter productive. Chris already stated he didn't want maps to be the only way to gain experience at higher levels. Maps are meant for loot.

The game isn't even released yet. Did you play Closed Beta? There was no Act 3, there wasn't even a Vaal boss, just a top of the pyramid when I played (I'm sure Alpha members can recall even less content). Did I complain about lack of content? No.

The content that they have announced isn't a new content patch or expansion like WoW, it is literally something that was previously undeveloped, but intended to be added to the game for release.

GGG did the community a favor by allowing everyone to play the unfinished version of their game during the long process of developing and expanding the current model. No other game has done this up until now (except NW, but they did it in the worst way possible). Wouldn't it be awesome to actually play a game like Star Citizen (look it up if you haven't) sometime soon? I personally hate having to wait many years for this shit after they tease you with some Pre-Alpha mockup footage they threw together just for this demo.

Not only that, they would have to be the same map at the start (accepting that as map tiers rise there is, at some points, 2 map types that vendor for the same map).
Edit; possibly misunderstood, but still.

I run Lunaris, convert all my maps to 68s, some to 69s.
I pool about 100 chisels, several alchs and chaos, then hit them.

Always over 100 quantity, or less with maze etc. I sometimes reach lvl 73s before starting again.
Casually casual.

And what better time to give feedback that the map design is flawed, than in beta.

I gave up on this thread long ago, but to some extent. I hope you even read what the thread is about, I don't want to chain to 77. I want a map drop of 1level up, but heres the rage, 20 69's 1 70, 1 71 and not a single map equivalent or up. Not many can share this experience simply because you haven't reached the level of the game where it's important to get the higher end maps. Of course it shouldn't be easy, but look at the #s i posted, i haven' even gone into the # of chaos + chisels spent and this is on a budget of 10day old economy.

Secondly, please don't question my wealth. Let me know if you can accumulate the currency + gear within the period of time I have. Don't call me a no life, 24/7 gamer too. It's about the economy.

Regardless, the amount of maps I did hoping for even a couple 1 up maps didn't happen, equivs didn't either. If you guys feel that replaying the entire content again is fun then please understand not everyones the same. I reach for the top, not the average. For those who constantly say roll better maps, try playing in new league @ level 82 still doing lunaris 3 making 2-3% a run.

Don't mix up anarchy and standard or whatever league, it's different. Nobody cares about standard, its a dump of items from hardcore + the high flooding player base itself. It makes everything cheaper and more supply of it too, if you don't have a 6link after playing for 2months I suggest learning to make money.

yes you misunderstood. The guys proposal was if no trade is involved anymore in getting currency you had to play low maps until you get the currency to roll high maps. So as you need about 30 chaoses or even more to roll these high maps I'd say you have to play like 20-40 low maps to play one high map after this.

But as also high maps give only very few XP this is not really needed to prevent ppl from lvling up. As all ppl right now who got the currency (from trades or RMT) play a certain lvl + and still progress very slowly. NN to grind 20-30 lvl69+70 maps between each high maps lol.

everything Ive said is true though

you yourself said you flip stuff and thats how you get currency.

currently the endgame content is all about finding high level maps and grinding xp. and while you are expected to invest currency, there is no EXPLICIT/GUARANTEED conversion between currency and endgame content.

by guaranteeing high level map drops in high level maps, the higher level map prices would plummet. then everyone can buy them. thus, no more real endgame because currency is much easier to acquire than getting 20 lvl 77 maps. it's simple economics, a concept I thought you are supposed to be proficient in.

Great then, people can give feedback and provide suggestions for how to improve the system.

When people say, "This system sucks, I quit, gimme my money back plz." That solves absolutely nothing.

99% of the "feedback" people give on this forum is just whining.
