nobody cares about how many you invest in rolling a map, it could even be the same with just one alch... and: there's absolutely NO guarantee about anything, this is just RNG on all aspects, and never will change, probably.

Let me know when you have the gear to be able to do maps. I'll give you 10 exalts if you can reach a level 77 map and sustain a pool of 76/77

Wake up, this games economy is so easy. Stop hoarding your orbs and being afraid of blowing them on items- its that simple. Many hold back from using an alchemy orb on rings/ammulets which to me is easy money and return. But thats small business, were talking flipping and buying exalts. It's simple, you hop on forums to check for items in which are rare (stats that are not normal and/or hard to value) and you do just a bit of research (comes with experience) and buy to flip. Simple, trust me its not hard, although like I mentioned many do have quite the problem learning.

Secondly, many of you are criticizing about my profanity and bad talking. Just allow me to say that I dislike being phony and rather honest, it's sort of what I learnt after studying for a degree filled with cold hearted money makers. Anyway, just enjoy this guy - seems quite nice when writing in public. Send him a simple private message and you get this sort of behaviour

I repeat my earlier statement: "How in the world can 'knowledge' work around RNG?

RNG is RANDOM. You can be the smartest person in the world, you cannot exploit RNG.

I stopped reading after seeing the word RNG. Sure some portion can be RNG, mostly it's called knowledge. Its a hard concept, but for those with a slower learning curve it will slowly come.

How in the world can 'knowledge' influence RNG? ignorance is bliss, isnt it?

Pardon me, seems as if you decided to hop onto this thread without reading anything. Let me explain simply that people complain about my gear and worth although its only a 10 day league. I can say portions of it comes to be RNG, the larger portion comes from understanding the economy and that there are people who arn't aware of time value of items and/or selling items cheaper than they should (5link chest etc). Comes with "knowledge" but you could say experience.

by the way, I don't recall mentioning anyone was a "noob", that word doesn't exist in my vocab, sort of makes me feel dumb using it. In other terms, I prefer to call people uneducated rather than "noob",

TL;DR

Shopper > aRPGer
Casually casual.

I am in online gaming since 98, also been a major manager of world wide leagues (starcraft). I tell you if I think the game is good I tell ppl I know its good and they will come and try it. If I think the game is bad due to the fucked up map system I will tell ppl it is bad and they won't probably touch it. This is how internet works. This is how mouth to mouth works.

Idc if you think noone cares if I care if the game works out for me or not as if I cared. I am writing this here because I care and I like the whole PoE thing and want it to improve. NN ppl like you who basically say "I don't care" and "it will always stay like this". This is the thing I am talking about, I want this to change (and not to stay like it is forever) because its not working out for me at all and basically all the people I play with ~lvl87+.

I doubt you are anywhere near high lvl map play so that you could judge about this issue.

Another oftenly mentioned fact is that usual casual players in no way anyway can afford all this. The whole system is based on the rich exploiting the poors and noobs. This has been mentioned alot of times. I do it, everybody I know does it. "Sold X for Y yeah!" GG

Don't you care?

I wish map drop rates were higher, or a map was guaranteed to drop in a full party with 6 people. It isn't very fun to grind your way up into the 80s and then just be stuck.

That said, this seems like just about the worst possible way of trying to get that corrected. Second, the league has been up less than 2 weeks. You are playing 9 hours a day. Plenty of time to keep grinding 66s and look for a drop, or even go out and get a real job.

Perhaps you've skipped the content, or just new to the language. People are complaining about my gear, as in what I own in such short period of time in Anarchy (not to brag, its really nothing compare to standard). They think I am able to accumulate such a great amount due to RNG alone. Very small portion of it was due to RNG, unfortunately I am "capable" of buying and reselling to accumulate the other... 90%? of my wealth.

Idk why you keep tying RNG with Knowledge with the topic were talking of.

Theres that saying; Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

There's a saying, give a man an aRPG and he'll kill monsters.
Give him an economy and he'll shop.
Casually casual.

Got enough air in those tires yet?
Get some friends (ingame, not like, real friends). Play maps with em. profit.

Bored? Maybe use something different than cookie cutter build everybody uses.
