It isn't as easy as picking up 3 or 4 OT shifts like it was to pay for my diamond.
Yea that would be a lot of OT for the Ruler pack (as someone who also works at a place with OT). Ironically, you wouldnt have any time to play PoE!

I'd like to know how they decided on the price $12,500 for something that in theory shouldn't be anything near that.
Maybe because they don't really want to sell it BUT if someone really wanted to set their mark on the game they have the option to.
Nothing to see here.

They even have a 12000 dollar pack. Has playerbase dwindled drastically and their funding cut down heavily? What do you guys think?
What ever overpriced thing they do, there is always a buyer.

Note that in life, even if it is the most crappy game in the world, there is people playing it.
This is not example of PoE though, just a mere example about everyone buys what ever it is.

For a game with "ethical microtransactions", selling a pack that you get a few trinkets and a say on a monster is anything but ethical.
By all means people go ahead and buy it, all I'm saying is it's a rather raw deal on your end and I think GGG know it.

I think Chris said that creating a monster costs well over $12,500.

12500 pack is not a micro transaction. It's a supporter pack.

I think it's fantastic and I imagine there are plenty of people who will buy the more extravagant packs, get awesome stuff and support GGG.
