Auction house Yes/No?

Imo, we are already trying to create a system to ease trades between players with sites like poexplorer.com. Maybe we don't need an auction house but I think we at least need trading tools to be far better.

An AH would probably work in PoE.

People hated the D3 AH because you was forced to use it, itemization is terrible and you have little chance of ever finding an upgrade yourself. Of course, there was much, much more wrong with the game too and people just liked to blame the AH for the shitty customization, the lack of endgame, etc.

In PoE however you can find upgrades for yourself quite often, and can build up a good character by yourself, the AH would actually be optional and you wouldn't feel like you're being forced to use it. Which is why I think it could work.

You would have a search function with iLvL, sockets, links, and all mods. And when you want an item you would open a window and place the items you want to offer for it, and those would be took away from you until the time limit on the auction ends, you withdraw, or the seller accepts an offer. You could see other peoples offers too. There wouldn't be a buyout, so it would pretty much be like an improved forum.

If GGG actually goes through the trouble of checking all the pages, tallying up the yes & no votes..then take said result to develop actual in-game changes...I'll go ahead and put my vote in for NO.

Just in case they would actually implement an AH because threads like these had more yes votes than no votes:)
