I don't find looting in public games to be difficult, I think its an unfun and boring way to play and I feel that people like me who enjoy MY PLAYSTYLE deserve a place to pub. Oh gee thanks, I never would have thought of that. This game was built with single player in mind. It doesn't make sense that only public games should have forced FFA onto everyone.

First off, your point would be true if there was zero loot timer. There is, you just have to be fast enough to react to that.

Third, the reason the timers are not long is for the best of all players - as not to make it a waitfest.

Single player is easy as hell. I am playing single player too for the most part its much less stress due to no loot spam, and more control over the monsters.

And yup, keep telling yourself you are losing that loot due to other factors - that is probably why you havent improved your loot skills yet - you are not willing to accept that you are mediocre at it and that you, by your own ability, can solve this issue instead of crying about it hoping GGG will take drops from those who can manage them and give them to you.

I, and many others I'm sure, gain more loot than I lose from playing FFA. I still prefer instanced loot to FFA. I know that it sounds completly crazy to you, but you need to open up your mind and learn to see different sides of the issue.

That isn't to say the pro side hasn't had their fair share of logical fallacies. You maybe know who you are. But there's no reason to join them in such behavior. However the con side is MOSTLY presenting ad hominem attacks and that's not cool bro.

Sort of. There are many people who are upset at the looting situation, but I and a few others do not belong with that group. I want something else. I want to see the timers go away so GGG could just have their true vision. I want name tags to go away. I want ninja=kick groups GONE. I want combat to a major focus and to do that I would be rather pleased to see either instanced looting, or something else than FFA. FFA can remain and everything is hunkydory. FFA would be the preferred choice in a looting scenario. The other options would be the preferred choice if loot is considered a secondary objective.

Single player easier than grouping? Now I have heard it all. You guys will seriously say anything no matter how ridiculous it is.

This conversation has again turned to who is more hardcore then who. Let us refocus here.

The devs have listened to the player feedback and are currently working on improvements to the Loot system. Since they are changing the system for public parties the question is how do they keep the loot competition that some enjoy?

People posing like their hardcore at the game because of FFA loot but apparently bad at actual pvp. I can't take it anymore, I am taking a break. You all have fun.
