Exactly

What is this "ninjaing", that you refer to? It's people like you who import terms like that from WoW, even though it doesn't have any meaning here, since none of the loot is exclusively yours to pick up after the timer runs out.

It's a term of convenience. You know what I mean don't you? Or was it too hard to understand?

Typing "pick up loot that didn't have your name on it after the timer runs out" is rather wordy and I believe "ninja" has come to mean just that in this game.

You can believe what you want, there is no such thing as ninjaing. It only exists to those who don't accept how PoE works and scream "ninja" as such for convenience' sake, just to believe they have a point.

Maybe you don't understand what loot ninja really means?
It doesn't mean someone who literally steal items (to do that they would need to hack your account!)
It just means someone who is taking loot that they are not entitled to under the looting rules that they are playing by at that moment.
If I make a group and state that we will follow rule X and someone takes loot in a way not according to rule X, then that person is a ninja to me.
That the game itself does not enforce my rule is irrelevant

It's funny. You guys keep saying that there is no such thing as ninja in this game, yet everytime I post that explanation you all ignore it.

Nobody is entitled to any sort of loot, even if it did have your name on it for 2 seconds, or if you made up a "public" party with self-made rule x. Unless you play alone, then you can have all the loot that you want. They can be a ninja to you as much as you like, but the game allows you to pick up every item and technically nothing is stolen whatsoever.

Since you bring up the private group with self-made rules, the answer is simple, play with friends.
Otherwise, welcome to Wraeclast.

^THIS.

While I agree that in the games usual FFA-loot type system, it can be argued that once the name is off loot, it is for everybody and therefore there are no ninjas, if a party leader creates the party under the rules of respecting loot (If it dropped in your name, it is yours and nobody elses), and somebody doesn't follow these rules, they may be called a ninja.

Its not trolling. BroOooo.

Yours and anyones explanation of a ninja is just a crock of bullshit.

Yes, we ignore it because it simply does NOT exists.

Vooodu they are changing the system. What could they do to keep some of the loot competition that you enjoy?
