It's a term of convenience. You know what I mean don't you? Or was it too hard to understand?

Typing "pick up loot that didn't have your name on it after the timer runs out" is rather wordy and I believe "ninja" has come to mean just that in this game.

Thats not how you make a great game. Thats how you sell out. Its also bad for the long run.


Also, Jay Wilson catered to the casuals in D3s early progression. Jay Wislon listended to the complainers. Thats why D3 turned into what it did. When it was finaly released, guess what.

None of the complainers stuck around OR started to complain some more... :D

This is because it's a hardcore game and not made for baddies who prefer softcore. Everything is relative in the world.

Why would it be any different in the choice between FFA and instanced loot?

I have:

Make loot show up for others only after the timer has expired for its named person.

That will ideally prevent people just stacking up on top of the loot waiting for timers to expire and blocked the one whos name is on it, etc.

Not saying this is the best solution, i just hope they will consider it.

Hidden until the allocation timer expires has been suggested before. I think it would be a positive improvement.

Personally I would like to see them.
1.Remove the timer from magic items
2.Increase the base timer for rare and unique items
3.Increase the base timer for currently > Jewlers
4.Create a cut throat league with reduced timers
5.Add FFA loot as a map mod

I alreadt outlined how making things more mindless and giving loot to those who do not deserve it will only bring the demise of the game.

There is no ninjas... Its really just a bitchy term used by bitchy players.
