What Will Happen When the Keepers League Ends

Your analysis stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of how the gaming industry actually works: you believe 'no-lifers' are the backbone, when in reality, casual players are the circulatory system that keeps the game alive.

poe is already extremely great game for casual players even without tree which annihilates adequate early progression.
if you want to delete content for "no-lifers", you are probably just FOMOed because of video game xddd imagine being like that?

TBH you're the only one that wants to delete content. Since you want Genesis Tree to be deleted.
Ironic, isn't it?

Well, for SSF the tree is godly.
All, as in ALL my gear on my current SSF char is from the tree as i have found zero useable gear yet, and i'm in t16 red maps.
Haven't even found decent bases to work with, but got quite a few useable fractured from the tree.

So,from an SSF standpoint i'm happy tree is going core.

Unless you want a grasping mail mod in SSF. Then you cry for the old breach.

I do cry for the old breach,im gonna miss it so very much..
I do NOT like the new version, the walls are so annoying, and the fortress is so boring with the exact same layout each time, and it takes forever.

I do like the tree though as i don't have to rely on other players to get progression gear, and that is gold in SSF..

My current char is the first SSF char i have ever done, and i had a lot of fun exactly because i could progress, but without the tree i would have lost interest a long time ago, as i simply didn't find a single piece of useable gear or a decent crafting base during progression.

Before the tree, Kingsmarch was the best source of decent gear, even after nerf it was useable to get high life/resist mods. Now Kingsmarch is used merely as a "second revenue stream" to get some bubblegum currency and potentially some good tattoos and whatnot..

What will happen to the graft mods? Can they go core and roll on another piece of equipment?
I really need that 1% projectile speed per 20 STR mod lol

I want them to delete hilariously overpowered early game mechanics which destroys early progression (mandatory part of every ARPG) and harms large number of endgame farms like -rarity fractures farm or 5way. its funny that ggg delete endgame strats, nerf adequate endgame setups to the ground, this causes massive backlash in both poe1 and "poe" 2, retention is bad, poe2's league launch online numbers are now comparable to poe1's launches, and still GGG act like they are doing everything right and they found trillion of new players who want no endgame and extremely trivialized progression.

go play d4, go play epoch, dont ruin poe, there are plenty of suitable omegacasual games with dull endgame, so "no lifers" do not live there.

Genesis Tree going core as is, is a HUGE MISTAKE.
Its too good compared to many other crafting methods. Essences? why? Jewelers and Fusing? Gone? Harbi left again without a meaningful reason to farm them.
Lets aside the fact some Foulborn are extremely good and will pressure everybody for farm Breach instead.

I m good with breach code, but not the genesis tree.

Please don't do that.
Will have to see how new breach plays out with atlas support and scarabs but do not like that tree is going core... With Kingsmarch and Tree the core gameplay of mapping feels more and more like a chore to gather resources to get loot out of these mechanics. Would rather have them removed and have the loot drop in maps instead. Also please nerf provisioning gifts to the ground so they do not invalidate essences, rog etc again. Progression felt really bad in last league with free 6-links, free t2+ resistance and life rares etc. Meant we didn't really get to upgrade or replace our gear after campaign, we just equiped these insane provisioning rares and then immediately began looking at endgame crafting...

It’s clear from your tone that you view Path of Exile as a private club where status is measured by how much 'mandatory' friction one can endure. You seem to believe that your ability to spend hundreds of hours on redundant early-game progression makes you superior to the average player. But let’s be honest: your sense of worth shouldn't be so tied to the drop rates of an online game.

You are clinging to a version of PoE that is becoming a relic. You talk about 'ruining' the game, but you're actually just afraid of change. Within the next 2 to 3 years, PoE 2 will become the core experience, and there is a very real possibility that PoE 1 will eventually be shut down. In that world, the market dictates the direction. GGG isn't 'acting' like they are doing things right; they are adapting to ensure the franchise’s survival for the next decade.

In nature, and in the industry, you either adapt or you get eaten up. You can spend your time shouting at 'omegacasuals' and telling people to go to Last Epoch, but the 'Final Cause' of any successful game is to grow, not to wither away in a vacuum of elitism. You can stay imprisoned in your nostalgia for 2015-era grind, but the world is moving on. You either learn to find challenge in the new systems, or you’ll find yourself the king of a very empty and very dead mountain.

Such a letdown. Was hoping we would get old Breach back!

Same, new breach is not fun

you are delusional. if you need hundreds of hours to get great midgame gear without OP tree you probably should git gud. or play cookie clicker/uma musume
can't wait to fully block breach after it going core.
