What Will Happen When the Keepers League Ends

Please, for the love of god, do not make us deal with breech walls and the only way to not deal with them is by speccing into atlas. I never want to see them again... ever.
True. Like it's just low-mid gears, high-end gears still require the traditional crafting methods. I used to skip low-mid gears and go straight to buy high-end gears off trade site, bc I hate crafting.

I mean, no-lifers can still grind for the shits they want. Like chill.
It's times like these Chris is greatly missed.. Look what they're doing to our boy.

TBH you're the only one that wants to delete content. Since you want Genesis Tree to be deleted.
Ironic, isn't it?

I want them to delete hilariously overpowered early game mechanics which destroys early progression (mandatory part of every ARPG). its funny that ggg delete endgame strats, nerf adequate endgame setups to the ground, this causes massive backlash in both poe1 and "poe" 2, retention is bad, poe2's league launch online numbers are now comparable to poe1's launches, and still GGG act like they are doing everything right and they found trillion of new players who want no endgame and extremely trivialized progression.

go play d4, go play epoch, dont ruin poe, there are plenty of suitable omegacasual games with dull endgame, so "no lifers" do not live there.

It’s clear from your tone that you view Path of Exile as a private club where status is measured by how much 'mandatory' friction one can endure. You seem to believe that your ability to spend hundreds of hours on redundant early-game progression makes you superior to the average player. But let’s be honest: your sense of worth shouldn't be so tied to the drop rates of an online game.

You are clinging to a version of PoE that is becoming a relic. You talk about 'ruining' the game, but you're actually just afraid of change. Within the next 2 to 3 years, PoE 2 will become the core experience, and there is a very real possibility that PoE 1 will eventually be shut down. In that world, the market dictates the direction. GGG isn't 'acting' like they are doing things right; they are adapting to ensure the franchise’s survival for the next decade.

In nature, and in the industry, you either adapt or you get eaten up. You can spend your time shouting at 'omegacasuals' and telling people to go to Last Epoch, but the 'Final Cause' of any successful game is to grow, not to wither away in a vacuum of elitism. You can stay imprisoned in your nostalgia for 2015-era grind, but the world is moving on. You either learn to find challenge in the new systems, or you’ll find yourself the king of a very empty and very dead mountain.

You say PoE1 will be shut down within the next ten years? Unless there's some groundbreaking new technology in the gaming industry, PoE1 simply won't have any competitors of its caliber in the next decade.

Look at the current state of PoE2; it clearly doesn't know whether to make a loot game or a technically challenging single-player game.

The only problem with PoE1 was that someone, in an effort to promote their vision of PoE2, created the first-ever 300-day season.
DONT REMOVE OLD BREACH FOR A NEW ONE...THIS SUCK
shame, i liked old Breaches more, but at least the Tree stays (which was objectively the best part of this whole league mechanic change)
I'm sorry but I have to say this. Keepers seems unfinished. Is there going to be Breach 3.0 with the remaining bosses? Ending on a cliffhanger like that only makes sense if there is a continuation to the story. Will the story continue? What is the deal here?

The tree is an enourmous detriment to the economy of other league mechanics. Even to the point of making some other league crafting options obsolete. Is this your way of culling the number of mechanics in the game?

Can we even call the tree a crafting method afterall? For me personally it is simply a lottery based kind of cheat code item editor that has even less to do with crafting than what original harvest crafting was. And original harvest crafting was already considered item editor broken mechanic. But with harvest at least you had to have the general knowlege how mods work, what blocks what, what order is correct and how to force some mods in clever way. With the tree you only have to prompt a few parameters for end result and keep pulling the lever. Is this where poe is heading? Gacha pulls?

Also the tree is kind of a big leap skip in the progression of a character. The tree, in many cases, can provide 90% of the endgame gear by day one or two at most (generous "/played"-wise estimate). It means there is very little incentive left to keep playing beyond that point if people are mostly motivated by the gear progression. So what is the design here? One week leagues?

I'm sorry but let's be real. If one week league every four months is the case by design then there is also no incentive to buy supporter packs. So how does that work out for you?

But sure, I played Keepers for 7 days because of the Genesis tree ruining my experience just handing out items like candy. If it stays in the game, with the same power or anything even close to it, I will abandon this game for good.

If the game designers are telling me that the game is no longer for me, so be it."

lmao, k bye. Literally accelerating progression by a handful of days with the tree and bringing the more casual players into the end game fold by giving them items shouldn't ruin your experience, you're just gatekeeping. High end crafting still exists in the form of synth items, influenced items, etc. you are catastrophizing. The tree prints the most basic of crafts that you can get by slamming fossils or essences against items against random fractured items.

The tree entirely deletes the middle-tier players and leaves only the low-tier and high-tier. i.e. mirror crafts and "free items from the tree".
massive L
NO new breach. NO tree its imbalance its ruin trade in a hour
