Affliction, Necropolis and now Keepers are the worst leagues ever. This game turned into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are too available; and stacked decks and valdo's boxes are a flawed design. The game needs a massive balance pass overall.
GGG said they wont put it in the core game if people dont like it but even though everyone hates it, they will put it in? looks like it was decided that it will go core even before keepers league started. peoples feedback dont matter to them

My 2 cents as a player on this..

The tree is fine. Complaints about it are extremely biased and exaggerated. The only players truly affected are hideout warriors who make profit selling mid-tier crafted items, as high-end crafting is still intact. That said, it would be fine to nerf T1 rates a bit.

Hive Breaches are extremely poorly designed. Not a single person likes them, and the walls are the dumbest and most pointless design I’ve seen in a long time. Just get rid of it and don’t try to band-aid it.

Unstable Breaches are fine, but they need more density at lower levels. It’s almost impossible to stabilize them during the campaign because the density is basically nonexistent. It would be nice to have multiple Unstable Breaches per map with Atlas/Scarab investment. (Maybe already coming to 3.28)

Hive Fortress is a nuisance to run. It’s absurd to have 1 km of empty walls just to reach a Fortress in the middle... like, wtf? Why not make Fortresses work like Abyssal Depths? Like a chance to spawn once an Unstable Breach is stabilized? Also, the map itself is a chore, and 24 waves is way too much. Reducing it to ~14–18 waves and making the map smaller would help a lot.
The tree is okay, the mechanic is tedious. It's somewhat decent for people let's say whoever don't spend 12-20 hours the first 3 days to catch up with at least mid-tier gears, thanks to the tree but it's also harder to gain currency early on since 6 links and such are worthless.

have you ever crafted midgame gear in this game?

normally, market needs a TON of fossils, essences, eldritch currency which is usually extremely expensive on leaguestart, also fractured bases for midgame gear were in demand and there's even farming strategy of -rarity and scarab of awakening+exiles. also harbies for raw fractured orbs.

tree completely annihilates these crafting progression. you just make the most obvious tree, passives basically guarantee you 6x t1 mods, allows you to block certain mods and choose which base you want, and prints multiple items per wombgift... and all this for 10c provisioning gift lol

Rog (the only useful expedition guy) is killed by tree, previously you could sell suppress+res gear to make some divines, now he is completely useless bc you need to farm logbooks and spend a lot of time crafting and dads with 30 children and 20 jobs can click slot machine and get 6x t1 necrotic armour with suppress

tree SHOULD NOT stay in the game. its just unhealthy. delete fracture, delete lucky links, delete passives which guarantee 6x t1 mods, nerf passives for blocking/favouring certain tags by x10 -> make tree nice SSF-only way of getting 5link and 100 hp 80 all res gear and its ok.

I like the tree, and I don’t hate the new breach look and feel.

If one can block the walls from appearing in maps even better.

Yes, most bloodlines are already part of core game but they will see some changes especially around Breach one and maybe a few more.

I truly, genuinely, feel that I'm not playing the game as people claiming the tree is fine.

Either they are being disingenuous, have no clue when it comes to game design, or they are simply insane. Sad.

they are people who cry about MASSIVE POWERCREEP WHICH KILLS POE ("GGG we should nerf all the abilities except cleave and earthquake by 200% otherwise the game is dead!!!!!! ALSO PLEASE REMOVE ALL ENDGAME FARMS PLEASE I AM TOO FOMOED FOR THIS GAME") and now they defend mechanics which literally deletes early-mid crafting from the game and makes a number of farming strats COMPLETELY useless. not worse, not less efficient, just absurdly useless. literal circus. I'm glad that 99% of ppl in this thread are mostly negative towards keepers goind core, but GGG gonna ignore us again sadly

What I wanted to say is that, we can all agree that the first guy in chain has got a really small one and that is bundled up with the IQ levels too.
