City of steam hits OB tonight. Anyone gonna dip a toe in?:) Feedback pls

Like I said, I'm not giving up, yet :-D. During the Closed Beta, the game actually seemed to get close to Arcanum, my personal benchmark for Steampunk Games. But right now it's just the feeling of the game having taken a step back from CB and that R2Games might have something to do with it...

I'm an open-minded and positive person but I have to say this game is terrible. I played up until getting on the train and I was bored as hell after the 10th time doing the same crappy "dungeons" and fighting the same monsters. Dreadful combat, too. Also barely any customization and the skill tree is horrible (it's incredibly simple, like for a 5-year old), no branching paths. Just a cheaply made game with low production values, awful combat, awful dungeon design, graphics, everything is completely mediocre.

Positives? The music is nice and the steampunk setting and story are sort of cool.

If you're bored of PoE or just want to take a break, try Neverwinter instead. Why waste your time on a game like this when there's far better options out there.

that's ok, everyone has opinion, but I LIKE IT!! but the skill system is way too simple but i believe that can be worked out with patches if the people are vocal enough and it seems back on the forum there are many people being vocal about many issues so i have faith the developers will chose the right path...

Well peeps, thank you for the feedback on this game as well, i played it, and i still think that for some people it may be a good game just not for me.
It seems the that the (a steampunk MMO that dosent suck like the vacuum of space curse) is still in effect. :( Stay tuned for my next game peer review and feedback thread :)
