It is okay i suppose.... but just like a bad version of WoW as far as i can see.... I have only played 15 minutes (at work!) so may play more later,

i have played WoW, can't play it,s it so much grindy grindy, and don't like that.... and this doesn't feel like WoW, doesn't play like it nor is the loot the same, the loot system is much more elaborate in this game, i think, haven't played enough WoW to really know.. also this is all for free with aggressive content patches... first one may 30th and can't wait... level 14 won't be that long till im lvl 25 and grinding to perfectionize my gear before may 30th patch come out with a lvl increase to 32 and 20+ new dungeons... so far with release there 80+ dungeons, lvl up to 25, team pvp, duel pvp, PVE events, and more I think...

Sucks to see that the game was sold and butchered so early. :(

do you not have any know about at all at what happened to that other content you think got butchered..... it's being polish, bigger dungeons, and more difficult, is what is being told i believe... it's a solf open beta lauch.. I hate when people say stuff like I guess it's RIP or w/e... when it's in it's earliest stages of open beta.... I would suggest keeping an eye on the forum and content update, as they have mention post after post, that the people concerns and complaint are really important to the dev, weather it's true or not is like a waiting game, so I surely wouldn't count them out, and they have also say they have the last word, not R2 or w/e ever that compagny that invested in them is, like above, it's like a wait and see to see if the devs will really listen to the community, as for what it is... I personally like it a lot... on one final note, this game has got to be funded somehow, it's not free to host a free MMORPG,.. anyways, time for me to get some rest.. cya....

During Closed Beta, this was a diamond in the rough. I would have donated if I had some money to spare at that time. Kinda glad now I didn't. I'm still going to play and see how far I can get/how gameplay feels/how annoying the not so subtle prodding in the direction of the shoppe will get and whether or not the Devs are still listening to the community (they were pretty quick to act implementing sensible suggestions and squishing bugs before).

Bottom line: I don't like the apparent direction this game has taken but I still have hope :-D

before i continue reading this, just wanted to point out that they said the stats on cosmetics were a bug.... there shouldn't be any pvp effected stats on cosmetics stuff


and also.... i wen't out to gather more energy 3 times already, and to me it's only a minor inconvenience... think about it this way they have backers, and those backers want proof of how to make money, and this was one of them.... btw, if you run into the wilderness with your pet, farm only the boss and skip the rest, it should be pretty easy to gather energy bars pretty quickly, just buy a pet first with 54k shilling with + pickup... and make sure your in the middle of the red circle trying to pickup whatever drops when he dies... to me, there a lot of other type games with energy system that are much MUCH worse then this system, you know the type of system where if you run out of time, you got to buy more time or wait, and not offer an alternative.... btw doing dungeons and also destroying hundreds of breakable for more loot and way fun,,,,

ps, atm my bar pretty much full, plus I have 8 energy bars that i been saving up, so 800 energy backup if i run out.... so yeah you can farm it like a currency, save it up, and spend it when you want to...

but you know, i might play a bit of torchlight 2 with some awesome mods while they get that movement bug fix... it's really anoying lol...

I'm an open-minded and positive person but I have to say this game is terrible. I played up until getting on the train and I was bored as hell after the 10th time doing the same crappy "dungeons" and fighting the same monsters. Dreadful combat, too. Also barely any customization and the skill tree is horrible (it's incredibly simple, like for a 5-year old), no branching paths. Just a cheaply made game with low production values, awful combat, awful dungeon design, graphics, everything is completely mediocre.

Positives? The music is nice and the steampunk setting and story are sort of cool.

If you're bored of PoE or just want to take a break, try Neverwinter instead. Why waste your time on a game like this when there's far better options out there.
