5 hours of t15 juiced maps today alone, 70% MF and not 1 single drop worthwhile

I farmed on T13 Rare (44 maps). Drops were 14 Exalted Orbs and 2 Freacturing Orbs... Too bad. My maps were more expensive than 35 Exalted Orbs.
Loot in this game is thrash you need to RMT to get anywhere. Imagine a RPG where there is no loot and the rest of the progression is worse than a gacha.
Gachas have pity systems at least, PoE2 has jackshit.
How about the fact that they made the recombination have absolute crap success rates pick one stat from one. One from another I get a 12% chance of success

If they don't increase drop rates, and success rates this game won't last D4, and last epoch let you gear up to end game without having to trade. This game pushes people to RMT to buy things off the Trade site snice nothing drops (Unless you are big steamer)
I don´t know why GGG felt the need to completely nuke the drop rate of currency and loot. The current season experience is god awful and I´m considering dropping it completely. Found 1 lesser jewelers orb during the entire campaign (normal + cruel). My friend who also plays the game thought I was joking until I showed him my gems and stash. Just started with maps and I´m not exaggerating when I say that I may see 1 rare item every 4-5 maps. Like sure these kind of games are supposed to have grind elements to them, but making it a complete slug fest that is not enjoyable is just trash.....
They gutted player rarity and breach in the same nerf cleaver. It was totally unnecessary to gut player rarity after balancing the OP rarity items.

Map rarity and tablet rarity seem to be the way to go. On high tier maps. Then you get a lot of tiered rares and can usually sell one or two a map.

Still doesn't come close to how map blasters want to play the game though.

Also destroyed most of the chase uniques, when they could've just made them more rare. Ingenuity was simply too common. Hitless runs were too easy and the relic was too common for temporalis. After adjusting their rarity to make them much more expensive, I don't see a problem with having either still in the game.
This is not encouraging. I slogged through the campaign with little currency, scared to waste it on RND crafting lottery, and now hear currency is scarce in endgame too. I do have artificers orbs after the patch, but no gear upgrades to apply any sockets to. I hope the next patch addresses the lack of drops. As people say, not rewarding.
Welp, Here I am... 4/13/2025,

Another day, Another 3-4 hours of pure mapping , No Loot worth mentioning... My characters gear is STAGNANT, unless I decide to get on the trade site of course, and I just don't feel like it right now...

I'm more interested in working on my atlas points, but boy I'd sure like to be able to get some cool items or increase my player power a bit as I go, But I suppose that's not the "vision"

TLDR; Multiple DAYS in a ROW of farming maps, almost level 90 now... STILL NO GOOD LOOT DROPS. WTF!??!?

DISCLAIMERL: Farming t15/t16 maps, Juiced with max number of things on maps, Maps instilled with Oil, NOTHING IS DROPPING!?!?! Currency drops are ridiculously low, plenty of yellow drops that are worthless, I am farming t15 / t16 maps juiced up and am getting tier 0 items, what is happening? Please fix

They significantly nerfed the amount of rarity you can even get on maps and tablets... I am literally doing maps with an average of like 15% rarity on the map.. it's absolutely maddening and makes me question the "vision", infact, it makes me think these devs don't know how to make the game rewarding, It's definitely extremely obvious they don't actually play the game.

The game doesn't feel rewarding because the devs don't respect our time, they don't play it themselves so they don't care that it's not rewarding, They are only concerned with keeping us on the game as long as possible, and if they reward us with good drops we might decide to play less!!! (This isn't how I feel personally, I would play much more infact, but obviously this is what the dev's think)

When game playtime metrics take priority over player enjoyment, you know the game is heading in a bad direction.... The game feels EXHAUSTING to play , I do not feel like my time is being rewarded at all...

Honestly, I was one of those guys that was shunning players mentioning they were looking forward to the Last Epoch patch, but now after this slog of end-game with no rewards in sight, I am considering giving it a try....

Also, Don't forget that they nerfed corruption to not increase mob levels by +1 anymore, So I'm not actually even sure how we will manage to get lvl 82 maps for the highest ilvl gear... I really feel like I'm playing a game that's in alpha, no joke.

I don't think it's a matter of metrics. I think they just overcooked nerfs because they have a philosophical problem with people making the game look easy, and because most of the feedback is from outraged new players.

In 0.1, the new players watching experienced map blasters MF for the first time, cried about MFing, rarity, party loot, party setups, etc. They saw 10 div drop a map in t15 juiced maps while they struggled to make 1 div on their builds stuck in low tiers they had made many mistakes on, and played sub optimally. It was made worse by some streamers, particularly Quinn complained about rarity in HCSSF, literally because he found a helmet he wanted to use, but didn't want to give up 40% rarity.

It was all ludicrous nonsense. Breach was overtuned, sure, but a player actually did hundreds of maps at different rarities, and posted the results. It showed that you did not make a whole lot more currency after about 80% rarity, which is extremely achievable, on any build or budget. People in HCSSF or SSF cannot juice maps like trade can, which is just like new players who do not have the experience to trade efficiently, make powerful builds quickly, and set up complex MF strategies.

Instead of realising it was mostly about breach printing 500 rares a map, and new players expecting to clear the entire end-game up to difficulty 4 in their first league, GGG drank the cool-aid. They essentially removed MFing from the game with nerfs to everything, including how it just works as a baseline on the player.

It was just overcooked, ill-advised, and unmeasured.

Nothing wrong with enjoying another game. I will be playing Last Epoch when it comes out too. If map blasting wasn't so awful and unrewarding, I probably wouldn't be.

Tier 16 with Irradiation tablets is how I do it. You don't need i82 bases to make something though. Just run difficulty 2 map bosses on T15s with the rarity and quant on your maps/tablets.

It's still not great. Completely RNG if the tiered rares actually drop with any value. I make probably 10ex a map if I average it out, most of that is from a few big sales of multiple div. The selling of the rares is also extremely slow, so often I lose out a lot on any small sales, as divines become worth more exalt.

Thanks for the positive reply , and thanks for the heads up on the t16 + irradiation tip, i'll definitely keep trudging along, I love the game.. just wish it didn't feel so sluggish... feels like I am making zero progress sometimes after hours of gameplay...

You are not alone mate. There is still some chance you find something amazing and make bank, even if it's inconsistent. Good luck.
