5 hours of t15 juiced maps today alone, 70% MF and not 1 single drop worthwhile

And what's the issue? If you're playing T15 juiced maps, you already have good gear so you shouldn't see anything worthwhile in 5 hours. Do you think you should be fully decked in amazing gear in 2 weeks?

I'm really not sure how I feel about Johnathan to be honest, it's quite clear that he doesn't even play the game... so how are we supposed to rely on him to give us a fun experience based on his "vision"?

He actually plays the game.

That's why we have this kind of "combat" and use of "combos" in the game as it is atm. He loves that shit.

He wants to come home and have his "meaningful combat" and slog progression.

Jonathan and Mark play the game. The difference is, we have proof that Mark is playing endgame, while it seems like Jonathan plays only the campaign.

Like... dude... if basically the entire community tells you something is wrong with loot - investigate instead of "nah dog, no loot in a loot-based game is actually a good thing".

On Dropped Frames yesterday, he said he thought there was already a passive tree "overlay" you could put in the game to map out your passive tree ahead of time (like PoB, that you could actually use in game).

Took a couple more doubling-downs for him to finally get that no, that's never been in ANY PoE game, including him going "I thought that was live" another time.

I get that interviews are tough and it was early, I've looked past SO many knowledge gaps in interviews, but this one felt like real ignorance.

Here is my take on this matter and please don't hate me for my opinion. (Englsih not my first language)

Yes, I think the loot is bad compare to last league which was WAY over-tuned but it is not to the point where you can't make any money, I don't rely on big drops anymore. I literally made 16 div yesterday with none of those BIG drops from mapping such as 10div from strongbox, lvl20 gem etc. Hell, I haven't even seen one Greater or Perfect Jeweller's Orb from my entire gameplay in 0.2 patch and I have to buy both of them for my LSpear and LLance.

My LS amazon is currently 92 and I only have 87% rarity. I get around 2-5EX drop per maps and no, I don't juice my maps at all beside putting tablets because I like to do Breach, Expedition or Deli. At some point I don't even bother to alchemy my map and just transmutation it then start mapping, yet I still made over 10div a day. There are things to farm rather than waiting for a BIG drop that might never happen.

The way I do it is to farm the stone, iron, copper citadel. This patch makes it so easy because it high-light their location on your map far away and you had to do is to branch out instead of stay in one place all the time. These citadel drops Fragments to let you fight the burning monolith but you shouldn't fight him unless you like to gamble. I sold every fragments that I farm from citadel. ANCIENT FRAGMENT= 97EX, FADED=50EX, WEATHERED=65EX.

You don't even need to alchemy the map since it's a guarantee drop, sometimes it even drop 2 fragments from my transmutation map. Farming expedition logbooks and sell them are also profitable, just make sure you get the Extreme Archaeology on skill tree.

My conclusion/advise for new players: STOP RELYING ON RNG BIG DROPS AND START FARMING THINGS THAT CAN ACTULLY SELL FOR MONEY. I always hear players says: Div never drop in my maps and I don't have money to buy anything and my reactions are pretty much "Wait, div can drop in maps?". Hope this helps some of you get rich like I did.

This comment are just straight up tone deaf, you are delusional living in a little no life elitist bubble. There´s absolutely no excuse for players to have as little progression as described in the topic just because they did the "wrong" content.

To get to the point you are at i highly doubt you have a full time job, or any life at all outside playing games. A games progression can´t be measured by the standard of people that no-life a game playing pretty much 24/7 while try harding to play the top 1% broken build and season mechanics.

Newsflash for you! Majority of gamers are casual gamers that have lives and neither can spend hours every day watching content and reading up on the latest most efficient broken end-game mechanics or can no-life and play the hours required to utilize it even if they did.

A game that have a bad casual experience are a dead game, no game will survive on only hardcore no life players since they are such a small minority of overall gamers.

A game made like that will get so extremely low player base it will die and neither no lifers or casuals can enjoy the game.

Finally someone posts something logical. Thank you.
People are just comparing too much from others.

Just play the game, dont compare it to videos of non life players and just think about something after few hours playing : "did I improve ?"
You could improve the way you play, change your build, have upgrade a gem, found a better stuff, crafted some stuff and enhanced what you already carry, play a harder content,...

It would feel you better just to play and think like that !!!

Sorry, but this does not make any sense.

Improve the way you play? This game is mostly knowledge-based and not a mechanically challenging game where you improve your skill so much that you can overcome stuff based on it.

Change your build? Good luck changing your build when your build sucks and you get rarely currency and items to... you know... change your build.
In reality, it ends up for many ppl in quitting the game or having to reroll a new character.

Upgrade a gem? Yes. This will make it - if you are a caster. If you are not, you need a better weapon. And btw, gems are not the problem. They are, next to gold, a thing that always drops in maps.

Find better stuff? Sure. Ppl complain that no loot is dropping, and you recommend "find better stuff". Do you mean I have to clean my room, so I hopefully find better stuff like... an old copy of "Diablo 2"?

Crafting? With what? Gold? Love? Air? If so... I need a guide for this hidden technique.

Just playing and gaslighting yourself into "No loot is actually a lot of loot" doesn't give you loot out of thin air. You still have no loot.

interesting! might partially explain why some of us campaign enjoyers (which TBF is just HC, HCSSF) are really praising the game's direction.

campaign to me feels extremely well done for hardcore. as a roguelike experience it's almost unbeatable imo. for sure a challenge to make both parties happy though!

goated post!! so many people think the problem is with the game(s) they play, rather than their own personal faults - expectations, delayed gratification, appreciation of what is, making fun from what exists rather than what you wish or believe should exist. most people want to skip right to dessert line and pretend they won't get sick.

remember - we were less than ONE WEEK into the league when people already complain, where's my perfect jeweler, where's my broken gear xd. I suspect they are victims of comparison being the thief of joy, seriously, can't have fun unless I'm number one mentality.

I made a separate post but I'll repost here, I've been running strongboxes for like the last 3 days and this is the average loot with 500% rarity, the best ive gotten was 2 exalts,

Actually anything but breach is not really worth doing or fun to do, strongboxes could be fun but they literally drop 0 loot of any kind.
