5 hours of t15 juiced maps today alone, 70% MF and not 1 single drop worthwhile

Refusing to accept the obvious reality of poe2's terrible current state, and making excuses left and right while actively avoiding to talk the hard talk about what's wrong with the game; THAT will mislead the devs and lead them to ruin. Mark my words. Remove your emotional ties and be constructive for the sake of the devs livelihoods (jobs), and give them your full honest shake of the game. I do not care if it has an "early access" label on it. A game is not immune to criticisms just because of that, it would be foolish to say such a thing.

"oh but its early access!" - "skill issue!" - "the loud minority!"

^^^that is the kind of excuses I'm talking about. That will doom the devs and playerbase with it

Yep. I defended 0.1.0 because it had a really good base to work with and improve on. Nerfing broken stuff, buffing useful things, adding more content, giving more crafting options, adjusting loot drops and so on... the feedback to do the right thing was countless.

But now, I have to admit, there is nothing to defend anymore. Every single thing that should have been improved - didn't. Instead, most things got worse.
On top, the Ziz interview clearly showed - if the game keeps going in the direction Jonathan wants to lead us - I am gone.

Thank you about the clarification of numbers. I also feel like many used 0.2 as a waiting room for LE.

To add on that pile, I havent really given LE much time in the past but this time I will. The delay of 3.26 and the phrecia ”league” which they messed up with the idols (in my opinion) plus 0.2 being in this state has made me starved for arpgs.

And the fact that GGG made LE move their launch because of 0.2 made me so pissed on GGG that I will play LE just out of spite.

Enjoy. The only reason why I only played LE for around a month was that I had already done everything (like most PoE vets), but with the new added end game content, it will be a blast.

I still prefer PoE1 crafting over LE because PoE1 crafting is the deepest most complex shit ever (in ARPGs), but the enjoyment for even new players is unmatched with LE, period. No crafting system is that engaging and easy at the same time.
Now with WASD in LE and respec of your class... oh boy.

I'm on Act 2 cruel using the same crossbow I found in Act 2 normal. Nothing better has dropped or been in the vendors and what few exalts I found to upgrade my others was a waste.

My resistances are also extremely tough to get high enough for this reason. They completely ruined the drop rate

If we are going to go by the numbers:

PoE 2 on release: 578,562

PoE 2 one week after a big content update: 204,068

A solid 65% drop in players. See how easy it is to bring up embarrassing numbers?

Last Epoch 1.0 : 264k players

Last Epoch 1.1, big update 6 months later : 71k players

A solid 73% drop in players.

You want to play, I can ;)

And im not even cheating like you, taking number 1 week later and not at 0.2 release xD

Completely agree.

I'm also worried about Jonathon being the Game Director over there. There is a disconnect with him and everyone has been talking about it since the interview with Ziz. [Removed by Support]. Mark on the other hand seems like a wonderful pick for Game Director. Dude is flexible and humble. He doesn't spout vague confusing nonsense for 5 minutes straight and completely miss the point of a question. He is far more in tune with the average players experience/thought processes.

I had the same experience running maps with over 400% rarity after being fully juiced and a proper tablet setup.

The result was just depressing, the currencies drop rate were not worth the effort, only noticeable effect was a higher rate of useless uniques.

Really hope they demote him or get some sense knocked into him quickly before this game gets any worse. Mark on the other hand seems like a wonderful pick for Game Director. This. I wish Mark were the one who directs the entire game alone. He is a true PoE gamer who knows and understands more than... probably 99.9% of the entire community.

Mark was a QA tester and worked hard to become a game director at GGG, that's impressive af. Look at him, this picture is from 2013-ish, I want to look as happy as him while playing PoE2:

lol love to see it
Yes I agree I am running at a net-negative when pumping exalts into maps, the reason I do that however is in an attempt to get Rarity/Quanity things on my maps, most of the time it doesn't workout and I just end up with no Rarity/Quanity on the map at all.

And I do understand that being in trade league, which I'm actually a fan of for the most part, it's important to turn your drops into currency which fuels your wealth as a player, the issue I'm having is that I have a full quad tab full of items for sale that nobody is buying, I put items up for what I think is a considerably cheaper price than what I expect they are worth and still little to no sales.. Granted, as I've said, none of the items I'm getting are exactly great or attractive items.

It just feels like a rough negative feedback loop that we are in, in which loot is dropping but its never good for anything other than vendor gold, which you need to be good in order to get currency, you need currency to "craft" and mod maps, but even when you try to craft or mod maps, 9/10 times you are not getting the outcome you hope for therefore you end up wasting that currency which is extremely important and not exactly easy to come by currently..

Honestly, the only positive I've seen come out of this so far is that Exalts seem to at least still be holding their value and not inflating nearly as quickly as the last patches before 0.2.0, however, I'm not sure the tradeoff is worth it in getting significantly less drops both in worthwhile items and currency...

I like exalts holding their value, but I don't like feeling like my game play is an absolute slog with little to no rewards at all...

Currently, I am mapping for multiple hours per play session, and so far since reaching maps I have yet to end a play session feeling accomplished and rewarded for my time, I routinely get off POE2 after 2-4 hours playtime and feel exhausted and as if I've made 0 progress towards any of my goals... (I am level 90 now and have been spending all of my time mapping since finishing campaign)

This is why I feel that the numbers I have seen people have posted are exagerated. You can spam 20-30 diferent buyers on Trade and noone is responding and those that do respond are price fixing.

GGG really needs to make a trading system where you cannot price fix your item for a certain amount of time. I dont care if some items get put out by a lot less that they are worth, right now using trade is absolute dog tier.

Due to the nerfs that we got to basically all builds, you NEED good items so using trade is mandatory more or less because crafting is still a random mess. I cannot even fathom how some of you can play SSF in 0.2 and have fun whilst doing it. It is like SSF Ruthless.
