The interview had major "Do you not have phones?" energy

For the rarity thing... I don't think it helps that it's unintuitive.

As I understand it, it works something like this by default. I'm plucking the numbers out of my arse but it's just for an example.

1. Monster drops a currency.
2. Type of currency is determined, perhaps with the following probabilities: 70% Augment, 20% Trans, 5% Exalt, 3% Chaos, 2% Divine. I know that's not all of them but let's stick with just these possibilities for now.

Assuming that's how it works, what exactly does +100% Rarity do? It's not clear. Does it double everything above augments? So 40%, 40%, 10%, 6%, 4%?

Or, is there a stepwise generation? For example the default is Aug. Each Aug has a 1/3 probability to become a Trans. Then each Trans has a chance to become a Regal, every Regal could become an Exalt and so on? If so does +100% make each of these steps twice as likely?

I haven't checked but my intuition tells me that would be an exponential increase on the rarer items as each step is twice as likely.

Or, is there a category "rare currency" and then a separate table within that once determined? And you are more likely to roll on that rare table?

With Quantity it's clear what it means. X% more chance of getting everything. Rarity means replacing more common drops with rarer drops but it's not obvious what the % actually means.
Yes, get rid of that useless +accuracy and give me more Light Radius!
Put simply, +100% suggests something is twice as likely to happen. What exactly is that something?

In Path of Exile 2, chaos damage does not bypass Energy Shield. Instead, Poison and Bleed deal damage directly to Life.

Additionally, Bleeding requires damage dealt to Life specifically (emphasis mine):

So mechanically, right now it's working as expected based on the in-game keyword tooltips.

oh interesting.

big buff to ci and energy shield then.

No, it's the other way around.
Bleed currently damages your Energy Shield first.
However in the interview they called that a bug, implying that they will "fix it" by making it bypass Energy Shield, which means Bleed would instakill CI builds, because CI sets your max HP to 1.

EDIT: Correction.

If you expect them to be that idiotic they would introduce a "Bleed now instakill CI" update i think it's time you move on to other franchises you have more faith in .

The answer is "Yes".

All of those things.
CI (without MoM) is SUPPOSED to be instadeath vs Bleeds. They thought it was, they were wrong, and intend to rectify it.

Rarity doesnt affect how much currency you get. So your wrong

I don't blame you for not knowing it, when even the devs themselves don't understand how Rarity works.

Yes, Rarity does indeed affect both the type and the amount of currency.

Don't take my word for it, ask people who have studied MF in this game.

Ok so your claiming that me, ggg and everyone who studied MF in poe1 (because they said its the same formula) are wrong.

Can you provide any facts to backup your claim?

As predicted, no facts, no response.

Just wild conjecture about the devs being wrong and then when asked to provide actual facts its radio silence.

I am 99% sure they said word for word that Bleed should bypass Energy Shield.
If this is your attitude towards the best and most ethical game devs that I know of, then I got bad news for you..
