From "Diablo Killer" to "Advertisement for why you should go back to Diablo 4".

there was a group of 4 of them to take down the Act 1 boss, not the first time i've heard of this and even ingame it's not the first time i've seen this happening either there is absolutely no need for this 4 people in a group to take down a Story Mode boss ok.
Not even the point of "Getting good" so imo they are way overtuned.

Geonor took me a grand total of ONE death to learn every one of his moves, how to avoid them, how to gear up for him, and then beat him. Hardly even ever have to use the dodge roll.

He might be the single easiest boss in the history of PoE. Beautiful, deadly, but also exceedingly easy. Attacks have super long windups and crystal clear telegraphing. The only reason I died the first time too was because I had no cold resistance and got tapped by one of the cold beams. Very first thing I did was go back a few areas and farm up two cold resist rings. Second try I didn't even need to dodge the beams they did so little damage.

And my reflexes and dodging ability is TERRIBLE.
Starting anew....with PoE 2

bosses can be as good as they want, you re not reaching one before you get bored and quit. i couldnt even finish my warrior reroll.

now waiting for huntress and druid, still have big hope on them.

Playing PoE 2 actually make me boot up my old D2LoD once again after beat the campaign. Damn, it's still gold compare to this pyrite.

May be I should try Grim Dawn too :3
Slow in, slow out cuz I'm just a player.

How is it luck? I just read what the game says and used my brain.

I also have a lower level Warrior that also doesn't struggle with bosses (The movement speed is a real PITA though).
They both struggle with being swamped by mobs, but the bosses are not hard.
The Ranger on the other hand munches everything easily.

The game needs some balancing but if you're struggling with bosses, its literally a skill issue.

Bored enough to post on the forums over and over instead of play the game.

Interesting choice.
Step 1 is to self reflect.

Losing a boss fight after 1 attempt is awful. When I play other games with fun boss fights I love smashing my head into them until I "Git Gud", but that isn't an option with the current atlas system. I haven't even struggled much with most of the bosses I've encountered, but not having the option to decimate my XP bar trying to learn weirdly enough feels bad.

This actually just proves his point.
It's so boring that I'd rather come here to complain than play.
And that's what PoE2 is in the end, a mix between boredom and stupid difficulty.

D2R is way better and more fun than PoE 2 currently is yeah. Personally I re-downloaded Titan Quest Anniversary Edition and played it again. It's like night and day, imagine making an actually fun game instead of Ruthless 2.0 cbt simulator(PoE 2).

If some big changes don't happen fast then this game is doomed. Just waiting for 3.26.

Skill issue indeed, I recommend try lighting elemental skill without Archmage from the start till the end wink*wink*

Sadly Titan Quest is this much of grind for gear too. But far less punishing. Also those ragdoll ♥

Have to disagree with OP, main reason being in this game you need to farm for your gear and step up bit by bit, while in Diablo3 and 4, you get a full set directly on reaching max level and it removes all the farming in a loot focused game. Another problem I have with D4 specifically is also that there are many builds, which you can't use because there are no items for them. Instead season by season there is a "in season" meta gear setup provided by blizzard themselves.

While PoE2 has issues, like the broken armor stat, OS crashing problem, unbalanced skill gems and uniques, it is still better than D4, a lot of leway with the fact that it is first release in EA and over winter and new year they have not had time to work on any major patches.
