I hate games with DEI/ESG content as much as you do.
But PoE2 is absolutely unplayable and absolutely no fun.
Maybe I'll go back to playing PoE1. Or wait for the new Grim Dawn expansion.

Why do you "have to" play? You don't. You didn't even have to buy the EA. The full release of the game will be free.
You chose to buy into an EA, incomplete, imbalanced game. You were warned ahead of that purchase what that entails. What in the world were you expecting?
If you aren't enjoying, put it down. Come back when they do a major overhaul. Or don't....come back in 6+ months when the game approaches its REAL release state. But don't you dare pretend you "didn't know" what you spent your money on. Ignorance is no defense.
For those comparing PoE 2 to D4.....you will never like PoE 2 if you are a fan of D4. Never. I would give up on that battle right now. D4 is going to be the complete opposite extreme type of arpg. It will always be that way, no matter what updates are in store for PoE 2. Everything you might like about D4, PoE 2 will do the opposite. From the ground up.

no one wants a second job playing a game lol. Why do I need to use a internet browser for a ingame system to trade? it was also promised as a different experience and game.

same here, I hate all these woke degenerates,
but let's face it: poe2 isn't finished, we'll have to wait at least 1 year for that...
I'll have to make up for my lack of hack'n slash with the next season of D4 unfortunately :(

In 10 years you'll still be using this excuse of "This is Early Access!!! The game is expected to be complete crap! Stop complaining!".
If in more than 10 years of devs learning from the mistakes and successes of PoE1, they can't do ANYTHING right in PoE2, repeating that it's Early Access won't be an excuse.

I refuse to play a game where the end game is do 1 billion damage then the next season you get a new item that now does 1 Trillion damage
It's so utterly brain dead and has nothing to do with an ARPG
Diablo 4 is NOT an ARPG it's far too brain dead\
Then the ugly wokeness the fact that they forced the female characters to look like a man so they won't offend the rainbow people.

PoE2 feels a bit like they took the worst, most anti-player ideas from D4 and PoE1, then blended it all up and released it as a new game, without bothering to playtest it whatsoever.
Exactly.
It gets even funnier, because thinking about it now, PoE2 is like Diablo 4 at launch. Creating a thousand steps to do something simple, to simply make the player waste time in the game.
Want to complete a map?
Pull 3 levers very slowly to access this part where the rest of the rare enemies are.
Want to access an endgame boss? Just collect 300 fragments to complete the item for his map.
Want to find a citadel? Spend weeks searching for one.
Because time = "the game is being a success, and people will spend more!"
Yep, this kind of min-maxing for player engagement metrics is the kind of stuff Blizzard would do with timegated content in WoW. Or you know, its the kind of stuff you see in mobile games. PoE 2 tries its best to waste your time at every turn.

Second job? I mean if it feels like a second job to you then I guess that's your baseline competency in a game. Please don't take this as an insult but there are other easy games out there. Sure I put in a decent amount of effort when I started POE 1 since I started in hardcore but now, I barely even try and just enjoy the game and yet I still get great results.

The whole endgame of this game reminded me of why I stopped playing Diablo 4 at launch.
The endgame is full of oneshots, common mobs simply deleting layers and layers of defenses from any character. Elemental resistance is basically useless, armor is useless, HP is useless and even harder to achieve in a high amount.
Horrible loot and with idiotic affix systems, where high-level items still have the possibility of having affixes of the lowest possible tier.
Warrior is an entirely useless class and less tanky than any other class. Even though that makes no sense at all.

But it still manages to be worse than Diablo 4, because at least there, I didn't have to spend more than two or three weeks to find an endgame boss or item for that boss's map, and only have one attempt and fail, because everything in this shitty game has to be a oneshot.
And being forced to spend other weeks farming for just one miserable attempt.

If I have to go through the whole situation of Diablo 4 at launch but even worse, no thanks. I'm going back to Diablo 4 where all this shit has already been fixed.
so why are you here then? Go play diablo 4.
Then come back in 2 weeks when they add a patch as the rest of you will do.
