It is literally required by law for there to be vacation time for Christmas and New Years in New Zealand, lol

Also if they had fixes/patches ready the same day they get back to work they didn't really take a vacation. The data has to be analysed, discussed and then changes have to be coded. Developing a game takes a while you know. At least when you don't time crunch during holidays like some people in here want them to do xD

" Nah that is just what those holy defenders want it to be. They get the same legal holidays as the Europeans: 2 days on Christmas and 2 days on New Year. The rest is solely a company decision. Many companies or work fields can't close that long with their entire work force but it seems for game developer that doesn't matter. |
