Imo GGG is a big company now with a lot of budget, they should never release a 'early access' game, they aren't some indie developers.

While i dont agree with a lot of things here. It is odd that its framed this way.
Most companies take 24th-25th off and are back to work the 26th.
I don't know if I've ever worked for a company that allowed you to take vacation 2 weeks within a major holiday either. Maybe we're just slave drivers in America.
That being said a few weeks off for them, while it may suck for us, is not the end of the world.
I reckon they made a lot of overtime for months on end to get the game out before the holidays. Would I prefer that they had someone back home looking after urgent matters? Sure. But they earned a few weeks rest, it's summer over there so let them enjoy the weather and their families for a while.

This. I've been playing the hell out of this game over the holidays, and I'm glad they didn't wait to release it.

Hope you come to a shockingly important moment in your life and your job tells you to get absolutely f'd about taking time off...or you have to work every holiday you celebrate for the rest of your life. You deserve misery for wishing it on the people who make a thing you claim to love.
