"How dare you go on winter holidays, you selfish game developers, don't you know we are paying customers! Do you think anyone else in the world goes on vacation when people have given them money???"
This reads like a dystopian satire but it's actually real. Crazy work.
GGG is in NZ, its summer. People need to admit they should have pushed the release until after the holidays.
Friend, winter holidays, summer holidays, it's Christmas time. I was trying to be inclusive. Good point I guess? Do you know what pushing the release two months purely because they wanted to go on a well deserved break would have looked like? Even more insane whining from all the insane whiners.

For GGG fanboys, the world stop during holidays.

I mean, from a business standpoint, it is weird that you'd close shop for the holidays with an unstable product out there.
It's certainly your right to do that, but it is kind of strange. In my opinion, it would have made much more sense to either wait with the release until after the holiday season, or to just stay and work, and then take time off later.
This is a completely normal reality of business. I've worked through holidays many times, as I'm sure have many others. Many people are quite open to this. Especially if you don't have family. You get paid more, and then you just take the time off some other time.
Yeah. Early Access was a mistake. Gamers are too stupid to understand what it means, and can't handle being allowed to check out an unfinished product.
Just cancel the whole thing, these manchildren literally don't deserve EA.

While i dont agree with a lot of things here. It is odd that its framed this way.
Most companies take 24th-25th off and are back to work the 26th.
I don't know if I've ever worked for a company that allowed you to take vacation 2 weeks within a major holiday either. Maybe we're just slave drivers in America.
That being said a few weeks off for them, while it may suck for us, is not the end of the world.
I'm not speaking for us, I'm hopefully warning them. The scene is changing slowly and if they're gonna sit at home and let that happen it's going to blow up in their face.
Ask yourself: If this were Blizzard, how would you feel?

People have to leave their feedback, whether you agree with it or not. GGG doesn't have to listen to all of it. or any of it for that matter

The steam awards finalists were just announced. You should go look at that list of very good video games and choose one that catches your eye and play it for a few weeks

I am not talking about feedback. I am talking about the supposition that GGG can't reasonably leave an "unstable product" to go on holiday. A fundamental misunderstanding, not poor or misdirected feedback.

No it wouldn't have, they would have released a new PoE1 league and everyone would have played it and waited. You are falsifying the nature of the crowd. You pretend it's whining when it's legitimate feedback. Again, yes men will only take GGG in the wrong direction.
Ask yourself: If this were Blizzard, how would you feel?

Shouldn't this be removed like other belittling and nonconstructive content? Or will it stick around because it is GGG white knighting? Let's find out

Yes and no. This is also a bit of a marketing problem. "Open Beta", given the meaning of "beta version" in the context of software, clearly communicates that the product is unfinished, as you say. Early Access, on the other hand, does not. In fact, the entire point of using the term "Early Access" is a deliberate marketing tactic to create the impression of something premium and exclusive.
So it's not really that people don't understand what early access means, it's that the term early access is, really by design, kind of a lie.
