EA servers need a complete reset (Remove MF)
" Yeah maybe we misunderstood each other. As I stated I'm all for changing MF. I just don't think we desperately need an economy reset right now. If MF gets fixed the economy will still be bad for quite some time. I think they should start a new league whenever they bring a new big content patch, like new classes, and that shouldn't be too far off. Removing MF should be a priority, a reset or different server after that would be amazing too. Ideally it should come with a massive patch of changes so starting from scratch won't feel bad.

Get rid of it entirely. Tie it to maps or just scale it automatically with map difficulty. Then reset servers completely. It's really not very fair to people who weren't at end game within the first few days who are now priced out of the market.

" that's like saying you shouldn't play black desert because there's multiple high level characters and they have a ton of silver. like what? play the game to enjoy it and have fun. the moment we start comparing ourselves to others, is when we'll never be happy. there's always gonna be a bigger fish. Big patch + reset would be fun, good opportunity to play something new.

" The only people that are really crying about MF are the people who are streamers/no lifers. the rest of the players seem to really enjoy actually being able to farm some good currency. The problem is the streamers and the no lifers want to be able to just sell their old gear for hundreds of divines or a couple mirrors then have currency to just buy whatever they need for a new build. The only reason the economy matters is to keep the rich from feeling poor. It was the same thing in poe1. as soon as the bow they spent 200 divines crafting couldnt be sold for a couple mirror you would start seeing them say "League is dead" even though there were still tons of players in game. |

It is hopeless to prove anything on the Internet. It is impossible to convince a person that the "straw man" he invented, which he so "cleverly" defeated with his "excellent" argument.
I read the messages under this topic, and realized that the problem and the arguments do not change. In both PoE 1 and PoE 2, there are satisfied and dissatisfied. The satisfied devalue the opinion of the dissatisfied by saying that they are stupid and envious. The dissatisfied go to extremes and offer suboptimal solutions to problems, which generates even more conflicts. In fact, there is a problem. It cannot be ignored just because there is a small group of satisfied abusers. But you cannot take extreme measures like wiping and completely removing Rarity. Today, for some, I will name a new word, and this is Compromise. Something that will make the game better for everyone. A competent, thoughtful balance that will come after some time. Players will get loot worthy of the time and effort spent, and fans of difficult content will also get more loot, although not that much more. No one will lose from this. So why argue? Why accuse someone of greed and envy? p.s. There will be no wipes, so if you play rarely, you will not lose your character and your progress. my hideouts - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3228515
