EA servers need a complete reset (Remove MF)

I will have to agree that MF on items should be removed before launch, whether it happens during EA or not is up to GGG.

It does create a fairly significant wealth disparity as time goes on in each league. It also removes the build diversity aspect due to certain builds being significantly better at MF than others.

Build diversity for clearspeed/farming will always be an issue however with magic find added to the mix this can be exacerbated by 2-3 times due to certain builds being able to abuse this stat.

Being able to abuse this stat will inflate the economy and almost forces everybody to have a MF toon for farming or be locked out of certain gear pieces due to their significant cost, which limits build diversity and will prevent people from continuing to play the game. This is a boring state to have the game in.

Please explain again how what others people do destroy your own gameplay in a moslty solo experience.
I have high hopes for an economic reset, either through a wipe or a new EA League patch.
They should remove the increased item rarity bonuses from magic/rare items and socketables, leaving it only on implicits and unique items — whether nerfed or not.
In general, reducing currency scaling by approximately 50% might be necessary.
The map atlas should provide better ways to scale currency or item drops, but with some negative consequences or significantly more challenging content.

Just stop. The entire game is balanced around trade. You know it, I know it, and everyone here knows it. Having access to trade means that 99.999999% of items will suck. The devs have stated as much. That means theres no clear path to improve your character by just playing the game, unless you want to play the same character for like 10 years for 1 marginally better, but still mediocre, item. 80% of what drops isn't even usable by your class and the rest of it is randomized to the point of maliciousness.

If GGG adds an SSF mode with better drops or revamps itemization or crafting I'll gladly stop complaining, but right now trading is really the only viable way to gear a character at anything beyond a glacial pace, so people have a right to complain when the trade economy is FUBAR.

This is hyperbolic nonsense, please

I would add that if I'm playing a softcore trade league, trade is the in-game mechanic I want to use to increase the power of my in-game build.

Except its only maybe a little. Tell me, how can I improve my character without trading when the vast, vast majority of items are bad? I'm at the mercy of a heavily weighted RNG. By definition that means there's no clear path for progression. Other games don't have this problem. Other games have more forgiving RNG or actual crafting systems.

Hell, after getting 2 characters past level 90, I spun up a warrior and made it to level 5 before I realized that not a single, and I mean not ONE SINGLE ITEM for warrior had dropped other than the mace they start you off with. Literally every armor was ES or evasion based and every melee weapon was a quarterstaff. Now granted, level 5 is only like the first 4 zones of act 1, but its indicative of a larger problem with the loot in the game. The fact that I had to freaking gamble for starter items is insane to me. I turned off the game at that point and haven't touched it since.

According to the intro of EA(80 mins one), there will be several phase of EA, and they will reset the league and economy every phase.

According to what they said you would drop 5-7 ex on act 1 and u drop 2 max, also poe1 wouldnt not be affected by poe2 they said, u cant believe shit even from ggg which is pretty sad

Right. The game is only playable in Softcore with perma-trading.

Tell that to all the SSF players.

It's not because you can't play the game without heavily relying on trading that all the people do that.

Where do you think items come from ?

Some builds need to be destroyed as well. Look at what rob playing, creative-wise sure it's cool but god damn no way that build is belong to poe2. It is no different than poe1 build right now and people who stacked MF are rich enough to make that build and literally play like poe1. (stat stack with potcg)

They need to address many issues, nerf builds, buff builds, remove rarity, add druid and huntress, add some weapons, release a new league asap. This is no longer enjoyable if you are not keeping up with others.
