" YES, lets completelly fuck over people who dont play meta and who barely scraped together 1 divine (in 300 hours of gametime ) to buy ONE upgrade. ive not been trading, but what do people mean when they say the economy is broken? ive heard it a lot in poe1 and it never is, the economy is always fine. what people usually mean is really good gear is really expensive, which is normal. just get used to that.
usually its the same stuff too, people complaining about groups and mf culling etc when the richest people in the economy dont even play the game at all theyre just playing the market from their hideout. a little knowledge can be a misleading thing, its like complaining about a worker who earns $140,000 a year while being completely unaware of shareholders who do 0 work and passively earn $10,000,000 a year. if what is said about mf is true then it probably needs tuned down. but theres no reason for any sort of economic reset, if they did it you lot would just see the exact same situation repeat and the fact it wasnt mf causing it but just the natural movement of the market would be apparent. i watched a ghazzy video on it and he explained a lot of things and then started calling for divine sinks etc, which would make the problems he was claiming existed even worse. even someone like him really doesnt understand the economy and why things are happening, how changes would effect it etc and hes a seasoned trader who makes big big bank. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" im gonna say some things, i say them as a veteran of trading in poe1 and because i want to help you enjoy the game, this all comes from a place of genuine good will. you were never going to compete, at all, and its probably best you realise that now and you can move forward in this game free from those sort of ideas. there will be an economic reset every 3 months after launch and you will have the opportunity to compete again from a fresh start. and you will always fail to get on top. just accept that, its ok. same in real life right? you are not gonna compete with musk and bezos bank accounts, it doesnt matter. i traded a lot in poe1, if i really wanted to i could go into a fresh economy and obtain wealth that 99% of players could never dream of competing with. while this was true, i also couldnt compete. there were players who could make more in 1 day than i could make in a month. while i was miles and miles ahead of 99% of players, the 0.1% were even further ahead of me, and there was a 0.001%, you dont understand the depths of how rich people get in this game compared to anything you can achieve just playing and looting gear. theres people out there right now generating 100 divines a day probably and theyre not even playing the game. " no you dont. trust me, you dont. everything you need can be crafted from things that drop. you dont need the top tier highest ilvl base item, the difference will be a tiny fraction that doesnt matter. you can get the top ilvl base when you get to top maps, until then you have the highest bases you can find in the content you play and you can craft on those. if you want to play market and you have the best possible bow you can afford on the market then you have what you need. forget the idea that you will ever have perfect gear, or even the best gear. this is not that game, this is a game where people play for 10,000 hours and have never had the best gear on the market. the scope for gear is massive, the difference between good and really good is unthinkable, the best gear is almost impossible, and you dont need it. you never need gear even remotely close to that. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
