I am extremely disappointed in GGG. I did not expect them to shove their vision down our throats after they attempted to do it in PoE1 two years ago and completely failed, were forced by players to retreat back to true PoE. One would think they learned the lesson...I guess they never looked up the definition of "insanity" by Einstein.

GGG is under ZERO obligation to anybody who spent money on ANYTHING except the EA key. If you don't like the game, you can likely contact support and return it. Like almost any other product you purchase.

Taxes are completely different: you aren't "Purchasing a product" by paying taxes. You are required by law to pay taxes, it is simply part of being a citizen. And the government is required by law to do specific things with those tax dollars. If they don't, they get sued. If you don't pay your taxes, you get sued. There is no product.

You can be pissed off without straight up lying and writing posts that have the literal opposite meaning of what they say. I get the feeling you are either deliberately trolling, or you are confusing "exaggeration" with "not being serious". Angry people often exaggerate, but they don't outright say something they don't mean.

People pay taxes, and often it is said in the context as if we are authorized to decide how they should be spent. People speak in this way, but they don’t say it seriously. I don’t know if you live in a cave and never leave your house, but that’s how it looks.

You're joking....they absolutely DO say it seriously! And they are just as wrong as these posts. People ACTUALLY think they are entitled to things because they pay taxes. Parents who rail at schoolboard meetings ACTUALLY think they know what's best for education. The people who speak out ABSOLUTELY believe what they say. That's why they say it!
