Really disappointed with the direction you are taking the game (making it easier)
I'm really disappointed in how narrow minded and elitist posts like this are.
This game has different difficulty modes. The first gameplay run through the campaign should not have a prohibitively high difficulty curve. Leave that to the higher difficulty modes, as that is literally what they are there for. p.s. - You've got that completely backwards. The overwhelming majority of players are saying it's too difficult for first run. There are a loud minority of people like you that are saying leave it as-is (or make it harder). " How would that benefit them? They can't string you along and get your free monies if they tell you you aren't going to get what you want now, can they? The slow realisation from this crowd that what they want just isn't going to be what is reality is somehow very fulfilling to me, does that make me a bad person? I am worried it does, but they are just so damn uppity and righteous.. until they aren't. It's taken less than 2 weeks for posts like this to start to occur, I thought it would take at least a year for the "vision" argument to fall flat. Turns out people really fucking hate tedium as a stand-in for difficulty! Last edited by Pathological#1188 on Dec 16, 2024, 7:35:06 PM

Those chaos ground effects which get hidden behind skill particle effects are the worst and I won't miss them
I'm all for slower meaningful combat but poe2 endgame mobs run around on roids just like in poe1. You ever try melee in t10+ rituals with like one foot of room and chaos garbage spawning under you where you can't see shit and leap slamp bugging out? |

Once the balance patch goes live NGL i would 100% consider giving melee monk a go again, hell i even saw nodes on the tree that give u inc spell damage WHILE wielding a melee weapon which gives notion to a hybrid playstyle which would be gnarly.
I love hybrid builds in fantasy games. https://www.twitch.tv/satsuinotanden for streams. Last edited by DreadlordMephisto#4974 on Dec 16, 2024, 7:35:26 PM

Op must be another campaign andy that hasn't even reached endgame yet. lmao
I liked the "difficultish" campaign, too, but endgame is as of now overtuned. It's just the way it is bud ;) I am happy to see that GGG is planning on removing one of the more punishing on death effects. With the current 1 death only system that is definetly the right thign to do. Last edited by Strickl3r#3809 on Dec 16, 2024, 7:37:25 PM

OP is just trolling. Everyone from PoE veterans to streamers thought the later maps were far too rippy. Betas exist to tweak the numbers so that the game can find the sweet spot of challenge. If even the tankiest builds get killed by 2 poison arrows, then theres obviously a problem that needs fixing.

" im literally in maps in SSF HC with my own build and havent had any problems yet (T5 maps). The crystals effect was on the MOB YOU ARE FIGHTING, you don't need to see the ground if THE MOB YOU ARE FIGHTING IS BRIGHT PURPLE WITH GIANT CRYSTALS STICKING OUT OF IT. |

" T5, that explains it |

" Yeah but when you move around the mob and the ground is covered with plants, you have no idea where the crystals actually spawned when the Rare finally dies. How do you know which direction you will dodge if you moved around the Rare all over the place? |

" It spawned on top of me at least two times with speed up insta explosions, the rare was at the other end of the screen. One time was in the trial of sekhema and it instantly remvoed more than 1k honor. You can say what you want, but it was way to punishing. Of course you can dodge it in a lot of cases, but there is also huge rng involved sometimes. |
