Their time will come for sure. Intended power lvl for poe2 characters is much lower than in poe1. If you can automate any way of killing it will get patched, if you can blow up entire screen in 3 seconds you can expect a nerf. Everything is subject to change.

Don't want to get nerfed?

Play a standardized build that has been playtested by GGG.

Can't stand not being OP?

Play something unpopular that needs a lot of buttons to do damage.

Don't like buttons?

Figure something crazy on your own, and don't tell anyone.

An unwarranted nerf knee jerk reaction. Reduce its incoming damage suffice.
It's proc rate is so damn low it can't even be compared with a regular skill. Then what's even the point of releasing the cast on gems?

You don't want to get nerfed in EA, don't base your next build on a popular streamers work.

Honestly i would just put cooldown on it, would be usefull for bosses. That would solve screen blowing issues.

I’m going back to PoE 1 to blow everything up since they’re stopping us from doing it in PoE 2! I’ll probably return once the game is more stable. You’ve completely ruined my experience—I just made it to the Atlas, and now I have to start over from scratch. I don’t have the time for this, sorry.

Well, I do not mean to be offensive ... GGG has a history with "balancing" things into ground. One can ask, why NOONE in the playtest ever tested a late skill like this. Its a hit in the face especially because they let most players left with no resources. Seems the hype was nice for the weekend and now "seriousity" is hitting back.

I just got Cast on Freeze yesterday after about 30 hours of playtime then woke up this morning to learn that my build was bricked. But hey, at least I got to try it out for two hours before I found out I'd wasted my time.

I'll be keeping a close eye on the Devs response to this. I've played too many hours to request a refund through Steam, but, considering the complete lack of respec, not to mention the wasted investment in gear, I don't feel my time and support is being respected.

With that said, I'm more confident with GGG than most. That's why I'm willing to wait for their response.

I dont get 1 thing. You guys have functional freezing build, why not cast dps spells yourself? Its not like freezing itself doesnt have any value anymore.

The amount of crying on this thread is staggering, I really hope GGG sticks to their guns and ignores 3/4 of the whining that goes on in this playerbase.
