Cast on freeze nerf and overall thoughts so far.

will try refund, no reason to keep playing after wasting so much time on cast on freeze build, and i have no desire to start a new build just to be nerfed again and the cycle repeats. Terrible move, worse than Diablo 4, at least they do camp fire to let you know about changes...

I get the frustration but it is Early Access, what the hell did you expect? Even full wipe of characters is not out of question. Changes will happen, and will happen often. This is entire point of EA. Its not here for you to just play the game, its not a release.

I didn't even read the patch notes before logging in. I just wanted to blast before bed, but I find my Cold Sorc unable to clear tier 5 maps in under 20 minutes all of a sudden.

Definitely feels like a Blizzard-esque overreaction. Tuning should be done with a tuning fork, not a sledgehammer.

Exactly why is EA that they shouldn't nerf things to the ground so fast, let ppl enjoy the game, have fun, do a little nerf here and there to proper balance things, and in the future, do the heavy changes before launch.

It IS here for us to just play the game. We don't work for them we are not employees wtf do you think we log in for?

Yes it is early access, which also means there is zero reason to hold back on free respecs. Either its early access or its not, stop treating respecs like it is still POE 1.

They nerfed the symptom not the cause.
Yes COF comet was broken with wave clearing.

Issues was not COF but how much damage Comet was doing. Maybe nerf COF a bit but making it from 120 per freeze to 10 is crazy. It also hurts other COF options too.

Also it increased cost on elemental invocation where at base you can only store 1 charge.

This was TOO much of a nerf to the overall class.

why they dont just nerf the numbers? like go to 20% of dmg dealt on autocast spells, or something like that, but now the build just doesnt work anymore.
at least understand that this nerf totaly ruined many characters and make it cheaper to reset passives.
its just ridiculous the way they nerfed something on an early acess game and its super expensive to fix the character build.
i spent all my gold building the character and now i cant afford to change it back.

Damn…worst l than Diablo 4 now ! I can’t even kill the elite now? What am I suppose to do ? Play new job or quit this shit game ?

Please dont bully PoE 1 - its miles better than its sibling.

Also, PoE 1 does indeed have 'free' respecs by doing certain quests. I believe its around 15ish free respecs throughout the campaign you can also respec with Gold alongside Regret Orbs...
