Who was POE2 made for?

The Vision TM almost killed PoE 1 several times, like the expedition flask patch, archnemesis, people getting worried that they were spending dev time and resources on Ruthless of all things. They're right though... I know people personally who have never played PoE and bought EA to run through the campaign who are saying things like "seasonal content is stupid, why would I ever play the same thing twice?"

For people that fell in love with how hard and brutal poe1 was on the beta days and got bait and switched to a zoom zoom game instead. For me!

" No? It launched and everyone played it, but it's a session game where one session is pretty short. Furthermore, there's not much "grinding" to do there, you either play because you like the process or you've done with it in one hundred hours tops (probably less). For instance I still play Helldivers here and there, but since I'm rarely up for more than 2 sessions in a row, it doesn't take much playtime. "They nerfed everything" story is a tall fairytale coming from someone who read forums way more than actually play the game. Since release Helldivers only went easier and easier with every single update. Nowadays tier 10 is at most as difficult as tier 7 was at release, and it'll probably drop even further. This is exactly what "casual cancer" does to games, they become easier due to supposed public outcry, but the "public" moved on, casuals wouldn't be returning anyway, they have new shiny games to play. just devs pls reduce boss difficulty by 30% or make easier as party, because even with party doesnt became easier and then problem solve for all of us
