You Removed the Main Reason People Play ARPGs For. And it's a shame.

I completely disagree. I love the rare drops. Makes it very hype when you finally get something good, or motivates you to trade with friends.

Wait, you're literally quoting a post where I gave an example of how I played the last league on Cyclone, with a full bar of active abilities. What's your deal, man? Am I still not "dedicated" enough for a guy who's never made a character above level 96 in his life? What a tragedy.
Once again, just for you, with a picture and a bonus:
Spoiler

Im just being as disingenuous as you. You know full well that there is a lot more to poe2 gameplay than just pressing space bar. You are the epitome of hypocrite. You have the audacity to ask "how hard is it to press dodge" while playing the most braindead, lazy and boring archetype in a game riviled only by RF. To answer your disingenuous question: harder than holding rmb.

Btw i made it to 98, char is deleted, its just a game you know.

How often do you get something good?

Because my last good drop was a lesser jeweller's orb in act2, and I'm in act4 now...

There's a balance between 'good drops are rare and fun' and 'nothing fucking drops, which is frustrating af'

The cheapest ring with +50+ life, +20+ fire res, and +20+ cold res is 20 EX, and that's like mid-tier leveling item given how much resist you need to beat the penalty, so no, rings are extremely rare.

Heh you actually find something good? I've got ONE fucking rare that I have usage of so far... rest is just vendor sell/trash.

After spending shitloads of hours into a game with lots of challenges I want some kind of reward. Why else play?

Doesn't it strike you as odd that, in a game which emphasizes build diversity, the key combat mechanic for all classes is identical and repetitive? =0[.]o=

You could say the same thing about PoE 1. Travel skill, mouse 2, travel skill, mouse 2, travel skill, mouse 2. Or Quicksilver flasks, whatever your choice. This is like 99% of your gameplay choices every league.

I mean PoE 1 is vastly more repetitive than PoE 2 is, even with people mocking dodge rolling. Just by nature of how the combat works. Couple that with most attacks are very similar in nature. You have your circles. You have your Cones, you have your various multiple projectiles, etc. Very little combos; you just spam your 1 skill and a movement ability of choice, and pretend to be a catfish scouring the bottom of the lake for currency.

I honestly only play PoE 1 to relax and play the economy/build wealth. It has by far the worst minute to minute gameplay of any of the Arpgs.

PoE 1 is the epitome of identical and repetitive.

Well, that may be broadly true for some players, but then, I at least have a far greater selection of movement skills from which to choose, but in PoE Deuce, everybody is a trained tumbler, regardless of character background. As for how I play? You have no idea, but then, I feel no particular need to explain it. Lucky you. ='[.]'=

Isnt it funny that this complain always come from cyclone, rf or summoner players? Their gameplay is just running from A to B. Idle game with extra steps. Imagine thinking holding 1 button is superior gameplay.

I guess there's a silver lining - since the campaign in poe2 is so much harder, maybe the complainers stop complaining about act1 being hard in poe1 :D

Wtf???

Who the hell ever complained about Act1 in PoE1? PoE1 is very very VERY easy up to at least Act 7 or 8 which is where your build starts showing if it's well made or not...

But what made up for its lack of cool graphics or gameplay was the LOOT AND CRAFTING system.

Crafting system yes, but looting is utter trash in PoE 1.

The game drops a billion of items that everyone just hides away and picks up only orbs. After a few days gear drops don't matter anymore, even in SSF. Loot is literally visual clutter - an annoyance that people hide ASAP.

PoE 2 has made looting exciting again. You get excited when a rare item drops. In early acts the game is perfectly playable with blue items, no need to be fully decked out in rares.

The only thing I'd still increase is currency drops, so we can craft more - regals are still too rare, imo.

Yea i kinda dont care, i just cant stand disingenuous twats. If somebody comments how PoE1 gameplay is superior while playing walking simulator he is either troll or stupid. There is no way around that.
