yea, i have also watched a single playthough of about 7 hours where guy died once on the wolf with a minion build. plus one of my friends is currently in maps with a minion build. minions are always the easiest build out of the gate. almost as if some of the main devs run minions & always functions. /shrug
Yet the feedback forum is full of "minion build is too weak and not viable".
I mean it kinda proves that the "game too difficult" crowd are literally just complaining to complain, even about builds you right now are stating to be one of the best ones in the game.

1700 hours logged in poe1 with several supporter packs over the years. every poe2 defender nearly always is either a new acc or zero support packs or both. I bet 70% of the poe tourists that are currently playing quit or finish what they wanted in the first 300 hours & don't return for league content.

QoL fixes, bugfixes, skill balancing? Sure.

This game is not its PoE1. Why would you come to PoE2 expecting PoE1 when PoE1 already exists.
They stated it very clearly that they are going in a different direction with certain mechanics.

Minions are super strong right now, BUT we need more minion variety as far as top end scaling goes. The opportunity cost for minion damage is great.
Its EA, we are probably missing some cool stuff.
