I am worried that GGG might listen to the whiny "game too difficult :(" crowd

I've also seen that a common complaint is taking too long to clear trash mobs.
That's not a "game too difficult" issue, that's an "I built poorly" issue.
I clear trash mob packs in 3-4 seconds. Your build is bad.

Jesus. What an asshole take. What about skill disparity? Some skills are just terrible, and don't have the support to be good. What about luck? Sometimes you just don't get items, or you miss the ones that you did get. Gold is not infinite, people don't want to farm the same zone for items and gold (unless they are hardcore and trying not to die ever). What about other people in general, my guy?

I started on Pathfinder and it was ASS. Literally impossible to kill rares in under a minute, at any point. Rerolled witch, now I'm blasting everything in a couple of hits. Obviously there is something wrong with the difficulty and tankiness for some skills. You definitely haven't thoroughly play tested them all in the few days we've had.

I think this thread can be safely disregarded as a salty pile of garbage from a lonely bastard, lol.

I would be inclined to agree.

In all seriousness I have a gift for you in the palm of my hand, it’s the worlds smallest violinist playing just for you.

You'll need that yourself, considering paying all that money not directly transfering you to the endgame made you seethe enough to argue with "tourists" finding the game easier than you.

Don't worry, they might bring out a skip option for 30 bucks. ♥

Oh boy… once again I remind you I have not commented on the state of the game at all :-) keep trying though!

That makes it even worse. You just joined to stir the pot, without having any point whatsoever.
Like a pizza cutter. All edge and no point.

Witty till he gets his first mute amiright 🙃
Guys and girls, this is a game. No toxic behaviour is needed. Doesn't matter how good, how many games genres you play or don't play. what matters it the game is great, the game stands by it's word unlike D4 for example. We already have so much distrust in major game companies these days.

That is what i support above all else.

This game interested me as much as clid the snail interested me, becasue i like isometric games of all kinds and so from there i saw enough to give it EA trial.

As far as Ip's and such go, man there is no badge of ownership imo. Resident evil fan here, for examples sake, and I enjoy almost all iterations, I don't buy or play the ones I don't or i think look not for me, and if i am unsure i wait for sales.

As part of being a gamer is also, being a somewhat sensible consumer if you want to have balance in your life.

So it's fair for this game to be enjoyed by new exiles, If i enjoy this i may even go back and play the first one.

Nothing wrong with having two different playstyles either, not ever gamer will fit that bill, i understand, but alot might and i find it refreshing.

Sometimes i want Resident evil 2 sometimes i want 4 you know. for example.

We got early look at poe2, if it's not your jam i am sorry, but it's ok sometimes to take a look first and step back before buying. That said does it mean we have to fight like children over it, no.

Let enjoyers have fun with the game, perhaps in time you will enjoy it more, or simply prefer to stick with poe1.

I think i gaming needs to go back to live and let live you know, enjoy it or leave it for others to enjoy.

Although I'm still trying to figure out what kind of support that is where you attack people for liking the thing the studio you're "supporting" puts out, but perhaps I'm not galaxybrain enough to understand that logic.

Usually crazed fans hate someone for NOT liking the thing their favourite studio puts out.

I also struggle to understand the logic of using "you're a new player" as an insult towards someone for stating the game is NOT as difficult as "the veteran" claims, but again, I'm not galaxybrain enough to comprehend it.
If I were a veteran of something, I'd find it concerning that the "tourist" has an easier time than myself.

In the "PoE veteran"s mind, liking the game makes you a tourist, and trashing people for liking the game makes you a supporter of the game.

Genius.

... And I agree 100% that we should lay off of you if you're comparatively new to PoE1. Note you have MORE experience with PoE2 than I do [more success, play time likely, content seen, etc.] so you're not comparatively a newb at PoE2.

... However maybe we should let that part go an not write five paragraphs on something that all sides [I hope?] assume is wrong to start with.

... To be fair and even-handed I would ask that you don't dismiss arguments that disagree with yours with the only comebacks being "git gud" or "skillz issue" esp. when the other side is trying to argue that scientifically git gud isn't a particularly viable option.

FYI: I apologize to you for lumping you in with the good people did nothing crowd.

Nobody has thoroughly playtested every class and every skill. We are all talking about our experience with our own builds. And I was open enough to state what class, build, act, etc. my take is based on.

I still doubt that Pathfinder is inherently that bad and not usable.
In fact, you just encouraged me to build a Pathfinder next, just out of curiosity, so thank you for that.

I still think the loot system is mostly fine.
Could it benefit from a 1-2% increase? Sure.
But the combination of usable drops + enchantable drops + orb drops with purchsable and dropped whites to craft is very likely enough to progress through the game without major issues.

In fact, many people have been doing it live in the past days, and many of them, on many different classes and builds, didn't struggle much.

Resident Evi 1-3 (the classics) was best
Resident Evil 4 was different yet fun

After that, not really RE anymore in my opinion ^^
just be like me play ed contagion witch and melt the entire game, can even pull entire screens of mobs and watch them all perish

I am still genuinely curious what kind of "supporting" that is where you get mad at someone for LIKING the thing you're "supporting".
