I am worried that GGG might listen to the whiny "game too difficult :(" crowd

oophf

Yeah... Their only character since HARVEST is a level 86 from Settlers...

And they didn't complete the campaign in Harvest. 3 challenges and one of them was "do 3 harvests"

your welcome to tell me I don't know wot im talkin about if you see anything on me that would invalidate my opinion.

You're literally the first and only one who brought up the channel. I haven't mentioned it a single time, anywhere.

It is connected so I can get my drops.

Buy a dictionary and look up the word "promotion".

Yet you're the one bitching about dying 20 times to bosses because "difficulty".
So how sad is that when someone so inexperienced has to tell you, apparently a veteran, that, no, the game isn't difficult.
Pointing out the noobness of the one telling you that the game isn't as difficult as you're claiming is more of a self-own, really.

I understand your sustainability, and I agree.

BUT:
GGG stated this is the game they want to make. People like myself enjoy the game they made and wanted to make, and I think that maintaining a certain level of gatekeeping against Karens who demand change (of something they don't even like) to cater to them is a good thing for the health of any subculture / community / game.

I've seen many games and many franchises try to cater to everyone and abandon what made them niche / special / the thing their core fanbase liked about them in order to either jump on a hypetrain or make it "for everyone".

Things are allowed to have a target audience.
Something that is for everyone, is for no one.

There are plenty of games that are more to the complainer's tastes.
Fans are allowed to protect their niche.

You're making an assumption here that I don't understand. You're assuming your the target audience and not the people who are advocating for what they see as improvements.

Considering it doesn't really appear you've supported GGG much I'd say your very low on the totem pole as far as who they want to be their "niche Community".

The target audience is the one who likes what they made.
I like what they made.
Therefore I am the target audience.
You don't like what they made. Therefore you are not the target audience.
It's genuinely not that hard, but on the other hand, I am no longer surprised you'd find PoE2 difficult.

Does not matter how good the Soulsrpg fans think this is. It is an uninteresting slow slog. Graphic detail sound and voice is awesome. Story and areas are very mid. Combat is mid. Path of dodging is not actually an arpg. It is missing the a the r and the p. All that is left is the g which in this case stands for garbage.

Again I believe your likely not the target audience. They are looking for people to support their product not simply advocate for it.

Buy a dictionary and look up "supporting something".

*you're.

The point still stands.
I like what they made, which makes me the target audience.
You don't like what they made, therefore you weren't the target audience.

Not difficult. Just like PoE2.

Then why are you here? You clearly hate every aspect of the game.

I felt like the financial support was implied, but I guess I expected too much from the target audience.

I supported the game financially by buying EA access. So did you, I assume.
I like the game. You don't.
So play something you like, instead of demanding change.
