Feels like a scumbag moment from GGG

Bought D4 + Expansion yesterday for a bit more and don't regret it. P2P is just a superior model.

Rather than complaining about $30 for an Early Access key, it would make more sense to spend your energy on complaining about how GGG still wants you to buy a weapon skin and weapon effect twice so that you can use it for each weapon hand, or how they ask $5 for every buff visual you want to turn off.

I'd like to know when and why we apparently collectively decided this kind of stuff is okay with the current pricing structure. MTX are already very expensive compared to (most of) the rest of the industry.

This is especially bad when you consider that Supporter Packs used to apply to both hands but no longer do.

Guys stop feeding the trolls. This argument is absurd and being made in bad faith.

How nice to see that the people who disagree with this business model are mocked for supposedly being poor. Good going, guys! Shilling for a gaming company is completely fine if it is the one you like.

Gotta say, GGG really struck gold with the league model. Create a league which requires you to collect stuff and then release a paid stash tab for said stuff. Very smart.

You'll note they actually moved -away- from this later. Expedition had tons of stuff to collect, and they gave it a unique stash for everyone. Heist too. Sanctum didn't really have enough stuff to warrant a tab or stash, but even that sort of does, as you can leave your junk on the alter (more or less).

What's the most recent league that added a tab? Looking back, it was Delirium, four years ago. So gold or not, they clearly realized it's core problem and tried to shift away from the concept.

one of the reasons to love GGG.

they really could have monetized but chose not to. now we have heist stash, expedition stash, sanctum stash ALL FREE.
