Actually, i think that quite a bit of the kripp scenario was unintentional and they just got caught up in the moment. Sure, i have my problems with the way GGG handles some aspects of their game, but i don't really see them as malicious or intentionally disrespectful.

Nah, I'm sure they aren't. But it makes sense to be seen/heard on someones stream when theres tons of sheep watching.

Yeah, i was more referring to the way that information was being leaked out via kripp, while alphas were confused about NDA stuff like moosifer was saying. That to me seems like it might have just been an oversight, because they were excited at a potential large influx of players from kripps stream.

Huh... I always thought there was a forum that only alphas and devs could use. Is there not one? There should be.

Chris, I hope I'm not sounding too aggressive, I do like you guys and I sure as shit wouldn't be giving you money if I didn't like the game. But I was told the same thing with my duelist thread, which I went on about duelist end game and how they are limited on build options which could be done better from other starting classes. *The thread I had on it had some amazing input from the community, most of my stuff in the OP was really garbage but some people had great ideas.* You guys revamp only the starting area, restrict duelist greatly to DW and touch on no end game issues that come up, nor do much to make the class more interesting IMO.

I like that I have an impact but the majority of the shit in the thread I said in CB or alpha before those problem reached OB.

I'm so torn because I want to have patience but you guys had very game changing patches in CB, in OB it feels like small shit here and there. It feels like you guys are settling into this being how the game is meant to be with small details being tweaked. I'm scared because I left D3 because it was in a similar state to POE is now when I left. Limit build options, endless grind for little reward, aggravating end game and horrid trading. While AH was easier, everyone seeking out the same gear means shit ends up being too expensive and self found just isn't an option with how damage is now.

I'm just blabbing, this is the first dialog I've had with you in a long time. I have so much shit I'd like to get off my chest but whatever, I'll relax a bit.

edit: added the *...* part above. Just wanted to be clear this isn't me saying I need to control the game. I usually put my threads out there to start a discussion and I'm more than willing to adjust to better ideas (but also willing to defend my POV strongly).

Maybe a good idea would be to record some of these internal discussions and make youtube videos of them. That way we can hear the different opinions and rationales of the different staff members, we can comment on the different views, etc.

This right here speaks a lot of truth about what a lot of people are thinking.
We've given money because we want to support the game, but our current methods of feedback seem to not really get through, so we feel the need to be more aggressive in order to get our points across. Then, as aggression rises, so does the chance of it being looked at as "just another rage thread" or "stop qqing" or "why you so mad" or "stop whining" by a lot of forum members.

I... think that's a bad idea given how players tend to get a bit to excited about things before they even have a chance to see them implemented. While I would like some insider info myself, I just think it is a bad idea to show us anything before its ready to be shown. By us, I mean all of the community. Good and the bad =/

I agree. There would be a lot of upset people if things changed before they were implemented.

Also as someone who had wild ideas often that never happen I couldn't imagine what they would go through brainstorming a neat idea that never gets added. "WHY ISN'T X HERE YET!!!" meanwhile they gave up on making it work months ago.
