What is the point of +% Light Radius and Reduced Attribute Requirements!?

Reduced attribute requirements is useless. It's entirely useless for twink gear, because the required level remains the same, and it's virtually useless for cross-class builds, because, let's be honest, if you're running a bow templar, you still need that high dex mod, because it doesn't lower the requirements of the gems in the items.

Extending the mod pool like this is stupid, I'm sorry. It's one thing to make it harder to craft GG gear; it's another thing to do this by adding mods that are completely useless. Maybe if they threw in mods like "5-20% physical/elemental damage reflect" (not very useful, as all high-level monsters have a lot more health than most players do) or "0.2-1% life regen per second" (useful, but probably not GG gear) or "% ES regen per second" or "-% mana cost of gems in sockets" or basically any mod that's useful, but not GG. Because reduced attribute requirements is useless. Increased light radius is useless. I think there'd still be some bitching and moaning if the added mods were nice but not stellar, but this? This is stupid. We already have Thorns, flat life regen per second, and +6 ES that we can roll when we exalt our gear. We don't need more useless crap.

Give it a chance. They obviously have plans for light radius and such. New map areas etc still to come.

You see the prices on Exalted dropping over the last 2 days? Those 2 mods are serving their purpose. I did my part and sold a bunch of hoarded Exalted 2 days ago at 40 Chaos a pop. Before I logged off an hour ago, I saw someone selling Exalted for 32 Chaos each. Working as intended.
they could not come up with something better and decided

to use a synthetical way of stretching the game like the devs of diablo 3 did..

ps: havent played since 1.07 came out i see no reason maybe there is more reason when the first bots go public but right now, no thanks
The light radius mod will be changed to be a lot more useful for low life builds. This will be changed rather soon. It would be awesome to experiment with light radius (and fog of war) mechanics in the longer term.

easy

to lower value of exalts

they shoujld add the following

% to increase player size 1-3%

% to cause bleed 1-3%

^ to cause shock 1-3%

just keep adding suffixes and exalts will drop

make it 1/10000 chance to get a good exalt

The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG
