Boss reset on death in PoE2 will be a deal breaker IMO

It's your skill and that's how it should be.

This isn't the type of game to test your "gaming skills lol" in. This is a game where you should be able to outgear any encounter in the game if you were so inclined. The most basic reason games like this exist. Progression to the point of trivialization. You of all people know that.

That said, I think OP is correct and boss reset on death will not attract players to the game, or at least not keep them so long. If everyone is good with a smaller number of players then that's fine. We can all bask in our superiority.

People still hate the Labyrinth mechanic, they just put up with it because it only happens 4 times per character. Now imagine every boss is the Labyrinth model. That's going to get old real, real fast.

I cant remember the last map boss i couldn't kill pretty easily assuming the map mods aren't stacked against me.

Well prior to GGG getting 90% of it bought by Tencent it mattered. Now not so much. I dont think any of our voices matter now really, they have thier money, they make the game THEY want to play. We no longer have a say in it imo.

yeah cause 40/40 means much u could just throw money at most of them anyways. besides some people don't go for challenges.

That's a pretty bad take honestly. Not everyone buys supporter packs or even displays all of them. Hell, my list of supporter packs *on this account* are not even close to representative of my support. I'm also a predictable 40/40, meaning I know what it takes to be one, and it's not that much. It may even mean they just didn't play this league. Hell, people accomplish a lot more than me without getting close to 40. People with money buying supporter packs doesn't mean much either. It just means they have money.

People can 100% have an opinion about this game that is informed by tons of playing time.

Also, I've seen plenty of people with walls of supporter packs that have opinions that are barely worth the time to read.

No matter how complex, hard, or tedious the game can be,
as long as we have ..."services" there is nothing to worry about leveling, item acquisition, bosses or our precious 40/40.

It is what it is.

hoho 40/40 is nothing when you can simply buy challenges. Take your ego
elsewhere.
