Playing PoE for couple years now and D4 in this last 2 weeks. They both have ups and downs.
Poe is still top in my opinion because of the variety of different builds you can try and make, Fast pace fighting, and great endgame. D4 best part of it was I did not get 1 shot by anything leveling to 100. had tough fights but never 1 shot even without worrying on resistances or gear. Simple crafting. If you watched that Campfire chat yesterday the Blizzard Devs spent at least 90 min trying to sell stuff. It was 90 min long infomercial. Then Rod Fergusson interrupts everything, constantly derails the questions to keep plugging the battle pass.
When you look at the PoE League reveal it's as professional as hell. Chris Wilson doesn't interrupt ZiggyD constantly to avoid the question just to sell the battelpass. Seriously I've seen less pushy car salesmen then Rod Fergusson. They have no end game, lvl 50 is the same as lvl 100, the only difference is you can do higher level Nightmare Sigils. Also, Chris Wilson does not spend time comparing "Malignant Tunnels" to colonoscopies in front of 115k people watching. |

" Classic blizzard move, they always try to sell their stuff in some way instead of offering useful informations like most other dev would do. Multimillion sold copies but just 115k on a dev stream? Kinda shows how low the interest in this game really is tbh. Not really a surprise tho if you look up at their community forum, it's basically on fire. Yet you have some folks all over different gaming communities trying to "sell" the game and dev as perfect and flawless. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Ron Ferguson looks like a pita micromanagey boss with some Michael Scott thrown in for extra cringe. e: I guess I should specify the league reveal was amateur hour.
