Im so glad i played diablo 4 i wont ever talk down GGG

I realized how lucky i am playing PoE and how lucky i am that in charge of the PoE is chris wilson somone who deeply cares about the game and is passionate about it after i played diablo 4 with no endgame content at all you basically do the same contant at level 1 than you do at level 100 its just scaled to your level everything is scaled so u dont feel like you are getting stronger at all the world bosses who spawn every several hours dies in 20 seconds on world tier 4 and drops 2 rare items 1 legendary the loot feels extremely bad aswell and the affixes on items are boring just lazy work unlike in PoE where you got those unique affixes on items from influenced items ah yes no global chats no trade chats and they also have limited instances to 20 people at a time so you cant have 100 people talking in clan its only 20 people at a time seperated in 5 instances how ridiclous is that and theres no build diversity no denisity in dungeons and the best part you gonna be forced to buy stash tabs AFTER already you spent 80$ for a game so im sorry GGG i love you and i will cherish you even more i cant wait for new PoE league

I think flaws should still be pointed out and worked on, but you can tell how passionate the higher ups are at GGG about their game.

I hope in the event Chris ever steps down in position to have less responsibilities he is still the face of the live streams. People give him a lot of flak, but you can't tell me you don't get excited like it's christmas when you were a kid when you see his face appear and he says the line.

D4 being a trash pile doesn't make POE any better sadly, it just pours salt into the old wound which is the fact that there is way too little competition in the ARPG market.

when a company pops up that focuses on a game and not how to better milk ppl. maybe then we gonna get good new arpg game. hell even a good game would be nice.

I didn't need to play D4 to know that though. Saved myself 70-90€ I can spend on less greedy devs instead. Every time I saw my twitch live screen I saw like the same looking background on every D4 streamer. If it was free I sure would play it for 2 days, maybe 2 weeks if friends played it too, but I just can't be bothered. It really hurts to see so many people just to enter the same ratrace just 4 days earlier filling Battle Pass devs' pockets.

i really like both poe AND d4. i can appreciate both as theyre both catering different gaming demographics. d4 is more suited for casuals and is a simple game. that said, i will say, that d4 devs definitely are green when it comes to arpg endgame. i wont blame them for that tho. instead i cheer them on. theyre doing their best to make their game good. greedy company aside, i really feel that the d4 devs are really a bunch of dedicated/passionate people. before the release they had various "dev update" posts/vids. they even had free stress test weekends. to me thats HUGE. i honestly felt that D4 could not cater to my tastes after trying it on the free weekend. the free weekend is actually big. many people dont realize this but it was kind of a "free trial" for everyone. even for me, the weekend solidified my opinion that d4 wouldnt scratch my POE itch. i actually decided NOT to buy D4 after playing on the free weekend. i eventually did buy it because regardless, D4 IS a good game. just its not meant for hardcore/nolifing. that said, i agree to OP. D4 actually helped me appreciate GGG more. sure theres many things not where i want them. but chris has a vision and its better than those at d4 hq.

So sad but just freaking true across all game genres.
Quite a shame that the gaming industry is only a money maker for companies these days. There's like only 1 decent game out of 10 released new games but even the one game can't keep up with the quality of the 15 year old games.

I'm slowly playing D4 with my brother because he was super hyped about it. And it instantly made me jump back into PoE even though the league is pretty dead and I didn't expect to play until next league. Also for the first time I'm very hyped about PoE 2.
