125 million people are not playing Wow and 2 million people are not playing PoE.
The site you're using present garbage metrics and is in no way an accurate representation of how many are playing a game. Concurrent players and peak players are far better metrics for measuring popularity of a game. Someone having an account and logging in once for 1 minute during a month is statistically insignificant and should be discarded.
Self-reported by Blizzard btw. During their PEAK in Wrath of the Lich King they had 12 million Subscribers. We don't know the official numbers today, but it's safe to say it's far lower. You say that Wow has 125 million subscribers right now? Not sure what planet you'd have to live on to believe that.
PoE usually peaks at around 250k during league start. That's most probably the correct number of players playing since 90% of PoE players are gonna login during leaguestart and play. After that the numbers drop of because people go to sleep or quit the league early.
It is hard to distill out actual number of players from concurrency. GGG will repeat the peak numbers which gives you a clue about the floor, but not the ceiling. There are absolutely people who avoid the peak because of server issues or wait until Saturday to begin because of work related things or time zone issues.
It also needs a more distinct way to describe POE players. Many players have taken league(s) off but intend to return. I did that on multiple occasions. Some players are gone for good but still have accounts and even participate in this forum to this day.
2M for each league feels very very high though. Maybe across the lifetime of POE.

Unique accounts isn't really useful for any discussion in a game that has free accounts. How many accounts do you think I have?
I just don't think there is a good way to actually know how many active or inactive POE players there are. Concurrency is a garbage way to measure it. Reddit subs is a garbage way to measure it. Unique accounts is bad as previously stated. For better or worse, only one group knows the answer and there is no reason to release that information.

d4 can't even beat poe 1, after playing the beta d4 is terrible compared to POE 1 or even D2! Hell even d3 more smooth than d4.

D4 will make more on pre sales then GGG makes in 10 years, no offense but this is a tiny spec of a game compared to D4.
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.
