What's your #1 issue with the current state of the game?

You're worried about gems????

If you can't control it, STOP.
What did I love about Sentinel league answers this question of why I dislike the direction of 3.19.

Sentinel league was IMO the perfect amount of simplicity but with a nice amount of being able to tweek it to your playstyle. And I was able to use a Sentinel in Delve which was huge. After fiddling around I ended up only using the single use Sentinel for everything, and although I understood I was not maximizing my loot potential it was good enough and easy to play (which is important to me).

Sentinel loot was consistent so I could somewhat plan my upgrades and even in relatively short 1-2 hour play periods I made demonstratable progress.

Sentinel league passive skill tree loot was nicely balanced so I felt that I could do the content that I liked vs being seriously disadvantaged in 3.19 when the quantity multipliers for many of the previous league content were destroyed. Players who think that loot is fine in 3.19 were probably playing content like Heist, Blight, Expedition etc. with chests vs what I prefer which is killing mobs in dense maps (which I not only adjusted my passive tree but spent currency in "juicing").

I play in trade league and I craft very little except for doing basic Harvest crafting (mainly with jewels), or saving the good crafts like annuls or slams for the finishing touches on gear or the misc stuff like gambling with cards, etc. I would never use TFT and I applauded GGG's change in 3.19 of basically eliminating the need. But the complete destruction of good crafts defeated the purpose of the move.

And I don't craft much, but other people do and their "rejects" lowered the price of gear in trade. Additionally the switch of Exalt and Divine increased the price of the top tier uniques by a lot - probably double for stuff that was well rolled (which is the only stuff that matters). I strongly disagree with the switch not only from a practical standpoint but from a "feel".

You will notice that I do not mention AN mobs, I'm fine with them after the GGG re-tuning except for the absolute crazy idea of loot goblins and the associated (super benefit) of the TFT culling. Terrible. Make the game slightly harder? I'm OK with that everything else being equal. That's enough for now.
cant find the 21/23 gem I need.

This is my #2 issue.

99.9% of the time you're sitting at max health, and everything's a cakewalk.

.1% of the time you're suddenly dead out of seemingly nowhere. Hope you were recording so you can go back and analyze frame by frame and *maybe* figure out what even happened.

Almost never in between. And of course, when it is in between, the game is designed for you to just instantly logout.

Same #1 issue, even didnt see any reason to talk about other mechanichs, this one broke perception of all game.
The thing that keeps me from playing as long is lack of map diversity. The rewards from Maven's atlas encounter need to be improved to be more in line with eldritch altars. I want a reason to run more different maps instead of min-maxing for the 'best' map.

I suppose it would also be nice if they buff Shadow Shaping in some way, so it benefits this playstyle. As is, people take it to inverse-block stuff, but it would be cool if the bonus wasn't so worthless.
Prejudice is a burden that confuses the past, threatens the future, and renders the present inaccessible.

Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.
My issue with the game...
Honestly, the game is not fun anymore,

You ned a lot of currency to make the build work and its not certain that it will work,
So much patches and many reworsk and less builds capable to do the end game,
Honestly, so many skill and mst are worthless,

This game is been runned by a moron,

i dont spend not even a penny here,
Yeah, i know, people will sya, wuit and play another game, we dont miss you etc... bla bla bla,
i know,
still, the game is on the wrong direction and things one day will turn back,

Its a shame to see people not admiting that they are not hitting the right note
This is coming from my on and off again experience, first time I played was Breach at that time and then took time off played Synthesis-Legion on the PS4 then switched to PC all the way to Ultimatum and took a break returning now try out Lake.

When I initially took a break at Ultimatum the direction of the game wanted to nerf many aspects of the game moving forward and back then the nerfs were going to target the more budget friendly endgame builds. Returning at Kalandra with the buffs to enemies and numerous changes to the skill tree I do find that they've essentially hurt non-meta builds because survival has become such an extreme. Switching from a hexblast build to an off meta Atziri judgement build, something I played back at Ultimatum, the survival aspect remains challenging but playing something off meta is punished more for attempting to survive while dealing damage -- it has helped to pick the -25% enemy damage + 50% health on the atlas.

While even the "budget" friendly meta builds are still more than double the price of cheaper off-meta builds. And the options for building are more limiting now since the league mechanic is just so unrewarding compared to the other leagues I've played before and it is telling that even now said leagues are still more rewarding and the way to build currency, e.g. Heist, Blight, Ritual, Delerium, etc. But even those have obviously been nerfed which while slowing down higher end players does tend to affect the rest of the population more, especially those that love to play budget builds.

I feel the game has just taken such a step back in terms build diversity, since putting survival aside the difference between boss-killing builds versus strong map clear builds is also very distinct now compared to before. I do feel the fears from before I left have essentially manifested.

With regard to the rares they've buffed they really do need to consider what mods appear on the story and at lower maps, some of them are really not very forgiving for the level of content. It should be more gradually introduced as you progress from story-white-yellow-red rather than encountering some rares with strong mods really early on. Aside that I don't feel they've really achieved what they aimed for with rares because rather than learning their patterns or even noticing what mods they carry as I progressed into red-tier maps the game essentially became an arms race that the best strategy to rares is just killing them faster -- or if you can't kill them faster kite them around but honestly neither of these options are any different from before.

#1 Issue: The 7,000 Exalted Orbs that I grinded out over the past two years are now worthless. I'd like to return to the game, but not until GGG does something to level the playing field. You can't run a game based on one currency and then just decide that currency is worthless. They could have chosen to make Divines more desirable AND kept Exalts valuable by reducing the drop rates or something else like that - they chose not to.

I've been burned, and if GGG doesn't fix it, I'm not coming back.

This is the reason I've stopped playing and not logged in for over 2 weeks.
I have over 16k exalted and been playing for years and it all got taken away in a split second. People farmed divines for a couple of days before the change now have more currency then it took for me to get in years.
