Keep up the good work GGG (the entire staff). We all know leagues can sometimes be plagued with changes that do not resonate with the community but that does not mean changes that have never been tested before in a live environment should not happen. Keep them coming GGG :)

just scrap this league, you've already pissed off and lost half the player base, hopefully 3.20 will be about what the players want and not GGG's outdated vision.

Dude, this argument is so ridiculous and seems to be placed by GGG to make fanbois repeat it without involving any braincell. |

the league looks a bit brighter, but the loot goblins are really bad for the game, a better solution is needed for 3.20
3.23 is the best league of all time (an absolute banger)

The overall loot changes are still awful.
Played a second character to maps and it was just so tedious and painful trying to find or craft gear along the way with what drops. I expect the intent here is to drive players into trading even more because GGG are so in love with the concept, but all it does is annoy a large proportion of players who just like to play through things simply and at their own pace. The over-tuned monsters in the campaign are just outright punishing and are symbolic of the current issue with PoE which is if you have the gear, you can neutralise or trivialise danger, but if you don't have the gear you're going to have a miserable time. The idea of gear is to keep the player engaged and reaching for that next upgrade, not just destroying them because it's Act 2 and they don't have access to mitigation at that point. I still feel like there's two opposing factions within GGG that are pulling in different directions and as a consequence we get mismatched concepts. It doesn't bode well for the future and this current patch very much reads like a reluctant concession to the problems plaguing the game, but without actually doing anything meaningful because egos are on the line. |
