POE More stress GPU Than FurMark poe burns GPU same as Cryptocurrency Mining

yap POE optimization is one of the worst... i have been playing so many games recently Lost ark, Cyberpunk, RDR2, Horizon zero dawn, spidermen remastered and nothing lags and stutters like POE does.

One of the big reasons I don't play much anymore. I often asked in game chat about this but got little response. Sure I can't expect top tier performance on a gtx 980 but the game runs very weird to me, jumping up and down in FPS. It could be the fault of my PC but I can't recall any other game running so poorly.

Note that I haven't played since start of this league basically so if something's majorly changed maybe it runs better now, I'll see when I play this league which I may not do long as the game's getting a bit too diffuse to me in terms of crafting etc but that's offtopic i guess.

Everything will be fixed in POE 2. Thanks to very loyal and patient players, they now finally have the capital to fine-tune everything.

POE 10 years ago started in a garage by very poor start up guys eating crumbs and sleeping on the floor without mosquito nets. They simply don't have the capital and sophistication of a Blizzard company. But you compare them to fellow start up companies and they did really well after all these years.

In POE 2, you will finally experience the animation smoothness of a true triple AAA game. Think about the diablo 3 animation smoothness. Heat and memory issues is a bygone era. All of this is possible because you supported this game for decades.

I could make the same thread with low PoE settings on a modern 20K EUR PC and show that PoE benchmarks 200X better than mining crypto on maximum load.

I got PoE working 100 FPS and medium settings on a 1080 TI.
It's just a thread to bait out the upsetties.

It's a sign of well optimized rendering engine and pipeline!

I stopped playing POE on my machine, because it was simply too hot in a room even with small 1GB GPU. Started playing through Geforce Now with 2060-2070, and I'm pretty sure I knocked few of them out during the last league. Shit started buzzing, artefact occurred and then kicked me out. This happened more than once.

If your system is loud /hot playing PoE, then use a fps cap. On that note, I cap mine at 75 with a 3080 otherwise ya...my PC runs in circles pumping out heat and noise.
