PoE Literally made my gpu burn and I had to buy new one.
From that moment I play it on lowest settings and with downscaling, capped at 75fps.
My gpu did not show single sign of issue for many months before i've played PoE.

So I totally believe you that it makes your stuff extra hot.

As soon as i heard my 3060ti rumbling at 1500 rpm i set to vsync and all was fine.

Now its quiet.

Capping the max FPS option was made for special people i guess so ohoho.

It is tested now poe burns GPU same as Cryptocurrency Mining this is madness
5 hours of playing poe is the same as 5 hours of crypto farming

It doesnt matter how old engine is if its constantly updated.

For some reason Path of Building burns my laptop worst than any game almost. Somethings wrong with that POB client, uses way too much.

As for POE itself, well when I started POE 1 year ago. I followed some fps boost guides & went from 60 fps to 15 fps essentially. So fps guides ruined my first month of poe.

Geek squad didn't know how to retain my fps even with writing them a thesis paper. Nvidia setting tried them all 100's of times over, & didn't help.

So I did a factory reset & my fps went from 20 fps to 120 fps. So POE requires a laptop that's fresh, with nearly no files. I may reset the pc again prior to this league. 1 time per year seems right.

Dude the game will be updated in 2 days, it better run at 50000fps on max settings on any integrated GPU or we riot. Such brand new game with latest optimalisation technologies can not afford to run badly.
