Blizzards last arpg has managed to get the worst user score ever, sure d4 isn't a mobile game and should not be monetized like one BUT they are going ever heavier into MTX, more likely they'll shoot themselves in the foot again.

With the kind of awnsers and response we received, yes unfortunatly ): . How can Chriss can go out and say's the new leage is crazy anb bla bla bla and was not even tested before.

At the begening of poe we had truth, loot, fun builds without crazy nerfs
now it's a without story, grinding and gambling game that's it.

Lets wish good news for poe2, but we need excuses and real ones, for the bullshit we received with untested leage mecanics, the nerfs, the less loot to play more new system. The ban of alt account we created to facilitate the trades for everyone instead to be inside a map and not awnsering for 2-3c trades. Trades and craftings are the new ways to play poe if you whant to gear a toon. IT'S NOT NORMAL....Facilitate trades was good even for players that buy stuff instead sending 14 message to get 1 thing. You whant less trade GGG, easy, BRING the LOOT.

Well, I guess the only real thing to do is wait and see. I hope it's a success. D2 was really awesome. If D4 ends up being similar / better, then it will be for the good of the genre overall. Having competition will be a great basis for inspiration. For poe to be alone on the playing field will not really be all that great to be honest.

There was some kind of tweet saying that D4 won't be p2w, having discussions about this point is quite moot at present, we will only really see what happens on the game release (at least we won't have to wait that much longer).

That said, poe is definitely p2w. MTX is great, I'm a celestial whore at this point, but the elephant in the room -> Have you tried playing the game without spending a dime on stash tabs? So I think it's time we remove the splinters from our eyes first and climb off some horses, because playing end game without a map stash tab will not really work, considering the amount of loot that gets dropped / stack sizes. You know, that type of thing. Sure, you can do all the things without spending cash, but it will be terribly inconvenient. For me it's fine, since I've spent a ton of time in poe, I think it's fine to pay for that time. But there were never any illusions on my part, paying enabled me to store more 'content', be it currency or maps etc.

Edit - premium stash tabs, selling stuff to players behind a pay wall.. As far as I know there is another way, but thats all just so inconvenient. Having to link items to the forums so they show up in the trade API's. Time is money after all xD

Diablo 4 will be a good game, but i think that might be it. It wont have depth or complexity. But thats not exactly a bad thing, since the game will probably be super nice for new players and/or casuals. The latter two are where poe completely fails.

Sad for PoE as DIV looks AWESOME! (obviously the proof is in the pudding but it does look good and seems to have good ideas, endgame is vital and in time we'll know how robust and interesting it is but on first impressions it has won me over).
