Auction house, good compromise, PETITION
I want to pay attention to something. The trade Manifesto was written before the 3.2.0 league. After this time, we received many utility items such as: Bestiary, fosils, legion spliters, metamorph fragments and catalyst, delirium obrs, heist books, expedition books and many new currency. In 3.17 we got compases, so new consumble item to trade. More and more, from league to league, there is no mechanics to simplify the acquisition of such items. Could GGG consider introducing a market for this type of items? There have already been many arguments in favor of this. Please stop being so hard on yours. 5 years have passed. Poe has changed a lot.

Not implementing an AH is just due to a lack of imagination.
If they tried hard enough, they could get all of the good with none of the bad. What is the value of my own life when it is taken from others so easily?

I think some solution is needed for low value items, perhaps have an AH where you can only list for maximum 3 chaos.

" Sure... Every single player has his own version of what an "AH" should be. And it's VERY important to step out of our personal, subjective bubble and look at history. Can anyone mention ONE SINGLE ARPG in the history of games where they "nailed" trading? Because I can't, and I've probably played 90% of them. Trading in a game where itemization is so damn important, is hard. Player X don't care, player Y has no idea and player N just blindly disagree, because he knows better than ALL ARPG developers in the history of time - because he's unable to step out of his personal, subjective bubble. Anyhow, to OP: What we have NOW, is a compromise. An AH is not. Should probably remove that word from the title. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

What the trade looks like now is not a compromise but whose vision is no longer working. There have been so many consumer items since writing the manifesto that trade in this form would stop being an original interesting element of the game and become a pain in the ass. Sad but true. It would be a compromise to meet expectations and introduce AH, at least, as I wrote earlier, only on items available in the bulk shop.

Agree with you big time. Modern auction house has to be implemented for a game like this. When i am running maps i get whispers to sell my items to buyers during the run. With an auction house that would have been eliminated.
The need to improve some UI features in game even our inventory. I been away from game for years and i recently got back and see they are still running the same inventory and also no auction house for a very market demanding game. The Good the Bad & the Ugly

I hate to trade for crafting currency. I don`t mind to visit other people hideout. If when buying from auction house makes you go to a player hideout, then no problem for me. I hate that I have to wait for seller action in order to complete the trade for currency. Viceversa, I hate that I have to stop what I`m doing to sell 100 fusings. For items, I have no problem how trade works, because I only trade items when I upgrade/change characters. But for crafting currency, this sucks ass. Anyway they said trade is in a good place for their liking, so I doubt they would use manpower to implement that.

" ![]() Insert "automated trade" where applicable. It's Chris Wilson's game and Chris Wilson's philosophy. Your thread aren't gonna change it, like over9000 threads that were before it. You can either a) adapt to the current crippled trade, b) throw it into dumpster and play SSF or c) play tencent version of PoE. Make your pick.
