Please remove Archnem mods.
" I played 2 tanky characters after my league starter. The only three things that were actually able to kill my builds were normal and uber version boss smashes and sirus clouds, kosis in high simulacrum waves with really nasty damage mods and just randomly clicking on altars with wrath of the cosmos active. Is it really that hard to build defenses? I bet 90% of all complains about randomly getting one shot comes from people just clicking every altar without reading it and most likley having also specced into wrath of the cosmos. " No, but it is limiting. Each viable character having same cluster of all possible defense layers is not necessarily desired gameplay. There is no self-expression here, just copypasting of someone's PoB. If you have no problem with playing like that, good for you. |

Prior to 3.18 one-shot deaths were frustrating. Now they are worse. It's not fun.

Tired of fighting rare mobs that because of the combination of Archnemesis mods on it, makes it almost unkillable to my build. Nothing like melting the adds with ease and a surprise rare pops up and kills you, but you get to the boss and melt it like a magic mob. That is unbalanced!!! If the Devs are really in love with this mechanic, at least make it where the player can switch it on or off via a keystone on the Atlas. I am not coming back next league, if Archnemesis is in it and still mandatory to play in almost all the content.

" Champion with spell supression, 1,5k life regen, a bazillion life recovery from live gain on hit and leech. 90% all resist, 150k armour, defensive ele flasks and some block makes your pretty much as close to invincible as it can get. The other tanky build I made converted all incoming phys and ele to fire damage. With 90% fire res its a really crazy tanky base on which you can stack other defenses. " The problem, for me at least, is that I had to sacrifice damage to get really strong defenses, at which point a T16 map takes upward of 10 minutes to clear, Searing Exarch and Eater of Worlds take 15-30 minutes to kill, and I'm not even considering fighting bosses with more HP than that. Given boss immunity phases and floor degens, even a tanky build dies if it can't clear fights fast enough. It feels like I had to choose between being able to survive Archnemesis rares in the wild or killing endgame bosses. It was an interesting experiment (RF Champion, of all things), but it ended when I hit the wall. There's just nothing to do that isn't either already done or nigh-impossible to do. At least I hit level 97 this time. |

My biggest fan that you are responding to doesn't even play this game (self admitted in another post) and doesnt even know what archnemesis mods even do. It's like I knew this already🤣. If AN mobs were such an issue, as whined ad nauseam in the forums here, trust the developers to have done something by now. Mash the clean
